Chapter Twelve
Stiles tried to convince Dakota that he had to talk to Theo alone but she wasn't taking the chance, Scott wasn't taking no for an answer either.
And thus the plan was born.
Scott was gonna hide and be as quiet as a mouse while the three of them monitored the boy's heartbeat as they asked him questions they needed the answers to. The two of them were sitting on the steps at Stiles' place when Theo walk up towards the front door, he stopped at the line of mountain ash they set down, they had Melissa on speed dial if they needed her to break the barrier but the plan was to just leave out the back door.
But... imagine their surprise when Theo breaks the barrier easily as he smirks.
And the only person she had ever seen who was supernatural to cross the barrier was Tracy, and she was a Chimera... which meant Theo was one too, what next he works with the Dread Doctors?
She wouldn't even be surprised at this point.
"I guess we're all telling the truth now." Theo says with a smirk playing on his lips.
Stiles pulls out the shirt that Scott was wearing the other night and tosses it to him, as planned. Theo catches it with a confused look on his face as he holds it in his hand.
"You killed my best friend?" Stiles asked as he sells the whole act of the devastated best friend.
"Let's be honest, Stiles." Theo says, "Was he still really your best friend?"
"Are you gonna let my dad die?" Stiles asked him?
"If I wanted him dead I wouldn't have told you where to find his body." Theo responded.
Stiles stands up, "If you don't want him to die then why are they saying his body is shutting down? That some toxin's poisoning him and they don't know how to stop it."
"I'm not the bad guy, Stiles." Theo says, "I'm just a realist. I'm a survivor. If you knew the things that I know--"
"Yeah, but what do you know?"
"I know what's coming." He replies, "I know what the Dread Doctors created. And I know what Parrish is." Theo says. "Lydia figured it out, I saw it in her memories."
"Yeah, after you fucked up her brain you, psycho."
He flinched back in surprise at her outburst, "I didn't mean to do that to her, that was an accident."
