BB23 Derek X- Scared Part 2

Derek X's POV

I made it to the final 5 and I still haven't heard anymore news about my girlfriend. I'm sure if it was important they would have told me something by now.

So no news is good news in my mind right now.

But hopefully I'll be getting some news now that I won HOH.

I unlock my HOH room and go straight for my letter. Once everyone is in my room, there are 4 people so it didn't take long, I open my letter and read it out loud.

"Dear Derek,

If you are reading this, it means you have won HOH. Congrats we are so proud of you.

I wanted to update you on how your girlfriend (y/n) is doing. (Y/n) is doing much and is no longer in a coma or on life support.

It's still hard for (y/n) sometimes but (y/n) manages. (Y/n) misses you like crazy and can't for you to come home with the big check.

We love and miss you so much.

I can't help but smile knowing that (y/n) is getting better and is on the road to recovery. I love (y/n) so much and I don't know what I would do without (y/n).

Everyone gives me a hug and tells me they are happy that (y/n) is better.

I go to sleep knowing I can relax for the first time in a while without worrying about (y/n).

*time skip*

I just won my season of big brother and I couldn't be more excited.

I race off my plane and get into an Uber so I can surprise (y/n) with being home.

I arrive at (y/n)'s house and go to the backyard. I see (y/n) and sneak up behind her.

I wrap my arms around (y/n)'s waist which causes (y/n) to jump but once (y/n) realizes it's me she leaps into my arms.

I hug her so tight almost like I'm afraid she will just disappear.

I kiss (y/n) and we hold each other as we both begin to cry.

"I missed you so much D" (y/n) tells me.

I feel so guilty for not being there for (y/n) while (y/n) was in the hospital.

"I miss you too (y/n/n). I'm so sorry I couldn't be with you at the hospital. Not a second went by where I didn't think of you" I cry.

"It's okay Derek. You are here now and that's all that matters" (y/n) pulls me closer to her.

I hold (y/n)'s face and look into (y/n)'s eyes. I smile and then say, "I love you (y/n)"

"I love you too Derek" (y/n) is cut of by our lips touching.

*time skip*

It's been 6 months since I won big brother and today I am going to propose to (y/n).

We walk hand in hand at the sunflower park. I suddenly stop. I look into (y/n)'s eyes and I get down on one knee.

"(Y/n) I love you so much. You make me so happy and I can't imagine my life without you. I almost lost you once and I'd be dumb if I ever lost you a second time. (Y/n) I promise I will always be there for you, from now until the day I die. Will you marry me?" I ask tears now streaming down my face.

"I would love to Derek" (y/n) says.

I put the ring on (y/n)'s finger and I twirl (y/n) around. I dip (y/n) and we kiss.

I love (y/n) so much and I can't wait to live the rest of my life with (y/n).
