Chapter 14

"I'm so glad to see that you're ok. I was really worried about you. Me and Blue both." Dream said, after he lets go of me. I wipe some tears from my eyes, and smile at him. "I missed you guys too. I'm glad to see you guys are doing ok too." I say, as Killer and Ink put Horror on the couch. Horror groaned in pain, and Blue immediately went to get the first aid kit. "Well, I really gotta go. Nightmare could wake up at anytime." Killer said, while looking at his phone. Before he leaves, I run up to him, and give him a hug. "Thank you so much...I really wish you could stay." I said, a little sad. He hugs me back, and sighs. "I know. But I can't. It's not safe for me to stay here. Nightmare could track you down easily." He said, while letting me go. He then turned around, and teleported away. I then turn my attention to Horror, who was getting inspected and treated by Blue and Ink. Ink looked up, saw me approaching them, and smiled. "Hey there, Y/N." He said, while waving. "Hey, how's Horror doing?" I asked, hoping Horror will be fine. "Please tell me he'll be ok please tell me he'll be ok please tell me he'll be ok..." I thought. "He's going to be ok. Yeah, he's in pretty bad shape, but after he takes some medication, gets enough rest, and absorb green magic if necessary, he'll be better in no time." Ink said, after giving Horror some medicine. I sigh in relief, and went up to Blue, who was busy wrapping Horror's legs with some bandages. When Blue saw me approaching them, he gently put Horror's leg down, and hugged me tightly. "ITS NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN, HUMAN!" He said, excited. I smile, and hug him back. "Its nice to see you too, Blue." I say, almost out of breath. "Gosh, I like Blue. But dang, whenever I hug him, it feels like he's going to break my spine." I thought, as we break the hug. Blue then went over to Ink and Dream to talk, leaving me with Horror. "Hey buddy, how are you feeling? Better I hope?" I asked. He looks at me, and gives me a weak smile. "Could be better...but yeah. I feel a little better." He said, softly. He started yawning, and he fell asleep. I sigh, and put a blanket over him. "Ok guys, I'm going to go sleep. Good night." I say, while stretching. "Ok Y/N, just be careful ok?" Dream called out as I went to my room. Once I arrived in my room, I plopped down on my bed. "Oh it's good to be back here...I missed this room so bad..." I thought, as I felt drowsy. I eventually fell asleep. When I woke up, however, I felt panic rise in me as I realize what room I'm in. "Oh...oh no. I'm back in Nightmare's room...I thought I escaped...?" I thought, as I tried moving...but failed? I kept trying to move, but nothing is working. I can feel my breathing getting faster as I realize that I can't move. "What's going on? Why can't I move?" I thought, as I stare up at the ceiling. "Hello, N/N. How did you sleep?" A familiar voice asked softly. I can feel my heart stop, as I look to my side, and gotten face to face with Nightmare. I can feel my panic rise again, as Nightmare put his hand on my face. He kept a loving look on his face as he stared at me, making me feel more uncomfortable and scared. His look then shifted from loving to confused. "N/N, why are you scared of me? You don't have to be scared of me. I'm not going to hurt you...on purpose anyways." He said, while stroking my hair. "Just leave me alone already...why are you doing this...?" I thought, as Nightmare started giving me kisses. He held my head in place, so I couldn't move my head. "Why me why me why me??? ENOUGH!" I thought, as I finally yanked my head away. "Stop it! You're scaring me! Leave me alone already!" I yelled. Nightmare pauses for a moment, stunned. Then he frowned, as he dragged me towards him, and made me lay on top of him. "I know you don't mean that, N/N. Stop overreacting." He said, while he rubbed my back. I can feel tears roll down my face as Nightmare was leaning into me again, probably to give me another kiss. Until I woke up sweating in my bed...I think? I look around my room and see Blue and Dream looking worried, and Dream was carrying a bucket. "Y/N, are you ok? I'm so sorry for pouring water on you, but I had to wake you up. Nightmare was in your dream again!" Dream said, worried about me. "So it was a dream...? Oh thank God..." I thought, as I sat up. I sigh in relief at that thought, but I still felt creeped out about the dream. "Yeah...I'm fine. Creeped out, but fine." I say, rubbing the back of my head. Blue sighed, in relief I suppose, and gave me a hug. "I'm so sorry this happened, human." Blue said, quietly. I hug him back, and looked at Dream. He gave a weak smile, which is a rare sight. "Hey, it's ok now." I say, while breaking the hug with Blue. "Alright, if you say so..." He said, while Blue left. "I can't help but to worry about you though. This is the second time this happened." He added, quickly. "It's going to be ok now. If Nightmare does come back for me, we'll be ready to fight back if necessary." I said, confident. Dream smiled again, this time it being more positive thank the one he gave me earlier. "Ok...I trust you. Have a good night, Y/N." Dream said, before leaving. After a few moments of silence, I finally drifted to sleep. When I woke up, however, everything was eerily quiet. Too quiet. "That's strange...Blue should be making breakfast right now, but I don't smell food, nor do I hear Blue talking." I muttered. I put on some lounging clothes, and went downstairs to see what was going on, before pausing. My eyes widened as I walked towards the scene in front of me. In the middle of the floor was what was left of Ink and Dream. I wouldn't have recognized the half dusted bodies if they didn't have their iconic scarf and cape. "No...n-no...this is all a bad dream...I'm having another bad dream." I said, as I pinched myself hard, and closed my eyes tightly. After a moment, I opened my eyes and let go of my arm. I looked around and panicked. I was still here in front of the half dusted bodies of my friends. "N-No...who...?" I asked, as I felt someone behind me. Before I could do anything, the person turned me around by force, and gave me a kiss. I slapped the person in their face, and they let me go. I took a good look at the creep that kissed me, and gasped. "Jeez...that's a rude way of saying hello to your husband, N/N." Nightmare said, while massaging his cheekbone. He then looks at me, and smiles. I shuddered as he gotten close to me. I tried backing away, but Nightmare slid a tentacle around me, and pulled me into him. "I missed you." He said, as he put his head on my neck. "What've you done to the others? Killer? Blue...? D-Did...did y-y-you..." I asked, before Nightmare looked down at me. "Get rid of them? Absolutely...they got in the way...the bastards actually tried lying to me when I confronted them about why they were feeling nervous about you. I couldn't let them live. They took you away from me..." He said, while gripping me tightly. I whimper in pain, and looked at him. His intense glare screamed he was angry. "And now...I finally got you back. But unfortunately, I know that you're going to try running away from me again...so it's really unfortunate that I have to do this to you." He said, while grabbing my face. I tried pulling away, but he then grabbed me by the hair, so I couldn't do anything. He made me look up at his eyes...which were making me dizzy, strangely. "W-Wha...? What's...what's happening...?" Was all I could think, before I black out.

Epilogue:

I slowly opened my eyes, and sat up. I rub my eyes for a bit, then felt movement next to me. I look over to my right, and see N/N, still asleep. I smile lovingly at her, gave her a kiss on her cheek, and left our room. I walk around a bit so I could wake up a bit more, and head over to the kitchen to get something to eat. As I was looking through the fridge, I hear a soft voice calling out to me. "Darling? Where are you? Are you in the kitchen?" The soft voice asked. I smile as N/N walked through the door, rubbing her eyes. I close the fridge door, and walked over to her to give her a hug. She hugs back tightly, and breaks the hug after a moment. "Did you sleep ok?" I asked, brushing her messy hair away from her face. Her bright cyan colored eyes matching mine sparkled as she responded. "I slept really well! I had a really good dream about our wedding day. It was really beautiful. Almost as beautiful as the day we did get married those months ago." She gushed, as she smiled sweetly. "Oh she's so adorable...I'm so glad she's mine. I'm the luckiest guy alive." I thought, as I gave her a kiss. She returned the kiss, and wrapped her arms around me. "I love you." She said, after we break the kiss. "I love you too. More than anything in the world..." I said, happily.
