Foreword

This is a character guide not a fanfic. So it will contain canon information about the character as well as my own interpretations that I have used in my Richard Grayson stories.

It's a just for fun thing for me and for you all who are reading it, if you are writing or planning to write a Richard Grayson fanfiction, it might be of some help to you in understanding his character as well as the multiple ways you can use and depict the different shades in his personality.

Not gonna lie, Richard is the reason I got into the DC fandom. No other character can equal the love I have for the original boy wonder.

I used to watch Teen Titans (the original one, mind you, not the stupid cartoon series that are airing these days) and Robin was my favorite character. At that time I hadn't paid it much thought but later one day I just thought of checking out his origin story which eventually led to me discovering DC.

So obviously, this character holds a special place in my heart. And once I started writing about him, I enjoyed portraying his character through fanfics even more.

I just thought it would be fun to note down my interpretation of Richard's character through my fanfics and then I am also thinking about designing it in such a way that it becomes a helpful guide for those who are interested in reading or writing about Richard Grayson.
