Background: Used to be part of The Flying Graysons act at Haley's Circus but after his parents' death, he was adopted by Bruce Wayne. Is currently living in Bludhaven and operating as the city's protector Nightwing.

Hobbies: Cooking, watching comedy shows, sports, learning to bake from YouTube videos, dancing, playing the piano, and spending time with his friends and family.
Personality: Richard in this story is literally the sweetest person ever, just like I've been planning to write him in Shatranj | D. Al Ghul. This could almost be a spoiler for you guys to know what's coming but whatever, we'll see when the story unfolds.
The prominent personality facts about him are as follows:
• Gives the impression that he can trust people easily since he's good at forming bonds with everyone, but in reality he does not trust that easily. He might be very friendly on the outside but it takes time and effort to gain his trust.
• Very supportive and motivating towards younger people, including his siblings, colleagues, friends etc.
• Believes in giving all he can to his loved ones but expecting nothing in return since he knows expectations hurt when broken.
• Has the talent of brightening up even the dullest of moods by merely his presence.
• Despite being an optimistic ray of sunshine for others, he is a little too hard on himself and tends to take the blame for things that go wrong much too often. Sometimes, he forgets that he also means a lot to the people around him and he should stop being too degrading to his own self.
• In this story, he has just started operating as Nightwing in Bludhaven and is also managing his job as a police officer in the BCPD. It is in the BCPD headquarters that he meets Erica for the first time who was called to make a sketch of a suspect according to the witness' descriptions.
• He is very loyal to his job, his city and considers it his duty to keep the people of Bludhaven safe, both as a police officer and as the vigilante Nightwing.
• The people in Bludhaven love Nightwing and see him as a savior. So he gets a lot of love and praise from the people he looks after, thus making it easier for him to continue protecting his city.
• But along with this love and praise come expectations and as Nightwing, Richard is always overthinking and overworking so that he can save every single person. This is a lot of pressure for just one man to deal with but somehow he is coping with it.
• Meeting Erica makes him realize that not everyone can be saved and not everything that goes wrong is his fault. Erica Leslie teaches him that it is equally important to love and value himself too.
• He's not the sort of person to fall in love at first sight, instead he believes in falling for the person with whom his bonding develops and strengthens over time, someone who can understand him and value him for who he is and that's exactly what he realizes Erica to be like the more he gets to know her.
• Once in love, he's a very traditional guy. He will treat his partner as a queen, take her out on dates and make her time worthwhile in his company. Also, upon finding the right person, he believes in making their relationship eternal by getting married.
• In short, this Richard is a sweet, charming and friendly person who deserves all the good in the world. And of course, he will get all the good in the world until I decide to spice things up a little *insert evil author laughter*
