Fanfic: Talon And Bone Series [Andanza | S. Vanaver + Lucera | B. Gordon]

Background: Used to be part of The Flying Graysons act at Haley's Circus but after his parents' death, he disappeared. Resurfaced as Grayson, a nightclub stripper, but later took on the enigmatic identity of Batman to set Gotham's criminals in their place. This is an AU in which Bruce hadn't become Batman as his parents were never killed.

Love Interest: Barbara Gordon (complicated).
Hobbies: Looking after people and helping them out when needed, the rest of his hobbies got suppressed as he got too involved with his vigilante life and the repercussions of being on the Court's hit list.
Personality: This is the version of Richard that has developed differently according to all he has been through in the Talon And Bone Series. So I thought of including it as a separate version as it has a lot of differences from the Richard we see in Espera and Lechuza.
[Spoiler Alert: Please don't read further if you haven't read Andanza yet].
The prominent personality facts about him are as follows:
• Doesn't trust anyone anymore, not even himself.
• Feels guilt for a lot of things that were not entirely his fault. Had tried fixing it up but couldn't and chose to run away.
• He has abandoned a lot and as a result, his personality got suppressed and evolved much differently from how his friends remembered him as.
• He knows he would eventually have to return because he can't leave others to put up with the mess he created. But the thought of returning and facing every single person he unknowingly hurt makes him want to delay it for as long as he can.
• Got several opportunities to return to his vigilante life, once even got an offer from Superman to wear the cowl and join them on Justice League, but he does not feel worthy of being called a savior anymore.
• Spends a lot of time alone in graveyards.
• Ever since the massive destruction of the Court, he had been severely traumatized by all that had passed that night. His worst nightmares make him return to that very night when the woman he had looked up to for a long time had forcefully made him become the weapon to cause her demise along with many others.
• Feels like no matter what punishment he goes through, he will never be forgiven fully.
I really want to add more but I don't want to ruin the suspense for the potential last book in the series.
