Since I have such random chapters written out for Espera already, here's a little sneak peak for you guys.

It's a scene that's going to happen way later in the story but I thought of giving you guys an exclusive insight into it.

Let me know what you think about. It's short since I will be including the full version in the fanfic and I don't want to give any spoilers right now.

He looked breathtaking, as always.

She inhaled sharply as she caught sight of him. A navy silk shirt barely covered his torso as he had it unbuttoned from the front, exposing his chest. Paired with the tight ripped jeans and icy blue eyes, he was no doubt a striking sight even in the cell.

Richard seemed to have a feud with buttons, most of the times he wouldn't bother to button up his shirts. At times she thought he did it intentionally. But then considering his profession, it shouldn't have been that surprising.

Her eyes trailed down to the handcuffs binding his wrists and he raised an eyebrow at her suggestively. That devilish smirk was playing on his lips and she shook her head, knowing full well what he was thinking.

"Not here, Grayson," she mumbled, before proceeding to uncuff him.

"Then where, love?"

"Shut up." Her face burned scarlet, rivaling the shade of her hair as she flicked off the cuffs and took a step back.

It was impossible for her to keep resisting him but she had to since they were in the GCPD headquarters at the moment.

"I think it would be hot," he resumed in his smooth drawl, voice dropping to a whisper as he took a step towards her, "you and I... Making out in the lockup."

"I said shut up." She replied firmly but he had noticed her heart rate spike up and his eyes sparked mischievously.

"Oh come on, Babs, it's no crime to kiss."

"This is the police headquarters!" Her voice rose slightly though not enough to attract attention, "it could be severe misconduct if we..."

He leaned forward and brushed his lips over hers delicately, making her freeze as her heart came to a worried stop.

But his intoxicating scent and too close view of that unbuttoned chest was too much for her to think of anything else.

"Changed your mind yet?"

She snapped out of the trance, slamming the cuffs back on his wrists, "no. Go home cuffed like this, I'm not getting you out of these."

He laughed, the pure sound of it filling the dull cell. Luckily, no one else was around at the moment to see the two figures standing too close than it could be deemed appropriate for a detective and a suspect.

"Sure, you aren't," he leaned forward and she gasped as his lips touched her head gently before he flicked out a hairpin using his teeth.

Then holding his cuffed wrists up, he put the pin in and twisted it, getting himself uncuffed in no time.

"Thanks for the help, love," he smirked, sending her a wink as he walked out of the cell.

She was standing there in a mix of panic and excitement. Something about Richard Grayson could both entice and alarm her at the same time.

He was like a roller coaster; unpredictable, dangerous yet extraordinarily thrilling.

In other words, he was bad news. But she could never keep herself away from him for too long.

Nor could she keep her heart from skipping a beat whenever he got too close to her.

So that's it.

This is just a slight sneak peak into the story, I am very excited to write it all out so that we can get to this chapter and the later chapters which are going to have lots of plot twists lined up for you guys.

I hope you guys enjoyed this sneak peak. And I guess it might have given you a fair idea of how different Richard's portrayal is going to be for this alternate fanfic.
