"Work that butt, Singapore!!", Janick and Chantal yelled at Belle who was rehearsing with her group on stage. The rest of us were scattered in different areas of the amphitheater - some were sitting in the judges' chairs, the others were walking around, while some chill out in the audience seats to chat and watch - just like me.

Today's our second to the last day here at the hotel and to be honest, there's a bittersweet feeling looming around the place. In less than fourty-eight hours, one girl's life will be transformed and get crowned as the new Miss Universe. Regardless of the result, I knew I did my best during the past few days and as for tomorrow? Ilalaban ko talaga ang bandera ng Pilipino. I am so glad that finally, matatapos na rin yung journey ko but at the same time, I'm sad because I'll be leaving the girls. These women have been amazing and I couldn't be more thankful to have met them.

I was busy looking at Instagram when someone sat at the chair beside me.

"Ain't the girls on stage pretty?"

I turned my head to see Miss Puerto Rico looking ethereal even without makeup. She reminds me of Lucy Torres-Gomez, nakaka starstruck actually yung ganda nya.

"Uhmm, yeah they are", I replied before smiling at her.

"You know Miss Philippines, you surprise me - I never pegged you to be the adventurous type", the Puerto Rican told me with her eyes still focused at the girls on stage. "Miss Thailand is a pretty strong candidate don't you think?"

As if right on cue, Amanda comes out and walks on stage. "Thailand!"

"How long have you two been dating?"

"Excuse me?"

Estefania looked at me, "you and Amanda. You two are together right?"

My mind went blank.

The latina just pursed her lips, "I know you kissed her last night. It was surprising — we were shocked at first. It's rare to see two candidates hook up during a pageant——I didn't know you like women. You look so—- innocent".

I opened my mouth to answer, but nothing was coming out.

"Oh, I'm sorry———I thought you two were dating, it looked like you were — nevermind my apologies for intruding Miss Philippines. It's none of my business."

Nakatunganga lang ako sa crystal-like eyes ni Miss Puerto Rico.

"Hey, Rabiya are you okay?", Aisha arrived looking quite skeptical.

"Uh, yeah. Miss Puerto Rico and I were just chatting".

"Hi Miss Japan. It's nice to see you again".

"Hello", Aisha waved her hand.

"I better keep going. Hope to see you two later", Miss Puerto Rico got up and both Aisha and myself followed her with our gaze.
