"I wish we could stay longer", Amanda tightened her hold on Rabiya. The older woman spooning the Filipina from behind—her right hand caressing the younger woman's own.

"What time do you have to leave?", she placed a feathery kiss on her sleepy girlfriend's shoulder.

"Mama J expects me to be back by five— we have an early day tomorrow", Rabiya turned around to face the svelte woman. The soft golden sunlight coming in from the hotel room's glass window gleam on the Thai woman's light skin.

Amanda's eyes shone bright, but Rabiya could see the sadness that the older woman was hiding behind her pursed smile.

"I'll try to see you tomorrow night after my event", the Filipina touched the reigning Queen's supple cheeks — her thumb gliding on the Thai's satin smooth skin, caressing it.

"Won't you get in trouble with your team?"

Rabiya sighed, "maybe ——-", she kissed Amanda softly, just enough for their lips to touch.

"—— but I only have a week here. If I'm free even for an hour, I want to take that chance and spend it with you".

Amanda smiled and nuzzled her head underneath the Filipina's chin. Making her nose rub against the younger woman's breasts. Taking a deep breath, she squeezed her eyes shut and hugged Rabiya closer. A sense of comfort from the contact enveloped both their bodies.

"I don't want you to go", Amanda mumbled.

Rabiya intertwined their legs and placed a kiss on top of the reigning Miss Universe's head. "We'll see each other again——soon. Who knows? Maybe I'll even travel to wherever the next pageant is to see you, aside from supporting the next Miss Philippines of course".

"I want to take you home".

Rabiya giggled, "home as in Thailand? Or your New York apartment home?", there was laughter in her voice.

"Come to Thailand with me this Christmas", the Thai replied quickly, void of hesitations. Her head moved to stare deep into the young Filipina's eyes.

Rabiya was taken aback by the invitation. If the rhythm of her heartbeat was steady a few minutes ago, now it's pulsating — a hollow drum thumping in her ears. The Thai woman's brown eyes still bore into her non-blinking ones.

"But it's Christmas, what about mama and my brother? I can't leave them alone".

"Take them with you. I'll pay for their trip—"

"No!", the Filipina pushed herself away. "Don't—- why would you do that?", Rabiya's eyes squinted.

"Why not? They could also use some time off and go on a vacation and I invited you, and I wouldn't want you to spend much—".

"Amanda ——", Rabiya stopped the Thai woman. "—if I want them to go, I will pay for their trip. I know I'm not rich, but please don't neglect my capabilities to spend and support for my family's trips or whatever they need. I didn't decide to be with you so you could act like my sponsor".

"I'm not neglecting it. I just thought, if you couldn't come because you're worried about leaving them or be spending a lot, then I'll be glad to bring all of you to Thailand. I'll be more than happy to welcome your mom and brother", Amanda tried to hold Rabiya's hand, but the younger woman pulled it out.

"Are you thinking, Amanda? I don't even know how to tell my team or any of my friends back home about us, and you seriously want my family to ——", the Filipina sat up and clenched her jaw while covering her naked chest with the white duvet.
