Chapter 63 C : Delivered 🪨🧜🏾‍♀️

Imagine the chaos and excitement that surrounds a wedding day. Nandyan yung gigising ka ng maaga to prepare for hours of hair, makeup, pictorials, etc. I wonder if nakatulog pa nga si Belle.

Ako naman, I think I've had at least three hours of sleep. I'm still terribly drowzy, but nothing that a glass of Coke couldn't fix — still not going to opt for coffee!

MJ, Celeste and I, all decided to have our breakfast in the villa so it'll be easier for us to get ready before the four in the afternoon. The most time-consuming part of our preparation is our hair. There are a couple of stylists with us on the island, but nakakahiya naman if makikisingit pa kami sa pila — we'd rather do our own styling and let Belle's family use the artists instead. Marunong naman kami mag-ayos ng sarili namin — perks of being a daughter of pageantry.

It's still ten in the morning and kakatapos ko lang mag steam iron ng damit ko for the wedding. I went out of the villa's porch to relax for a while and contemplate if I'll put my hair up or down mamaya. The water today looks sparkly nice. I took a sip of my orange juice before placing it back on the small table beside the round lounger.

Busy?

I texted and smiled.

"Ibyang, can I borrow your primer? Grabe, naiwan ko ata sa bahay. Wala pala sa pouch ko".

"Sure, nang. Gamitin mo lang, marami pa naman yun".

Manang MJ bent down and hugged me. "Thanks, langga. Bait-bait mo naman today!"
She snuggled and made me ticklish so I tickled back.

"Nang! Teka!" Tumataas na yung legs ko sa kakatawa, then somebody coughed - interrupting our little banter.

"Fun party. Care if I join?"

Manang MJ stopped attacking my waist. "Uh..nope. Pass ako, ladies. Kayo nalang. I'll go back inside and get ready". My older friend slapped yung side ng balakang ko. "Landi!"

"Aray ko!"

She just giggled.

Amanda went up the steps and stood in front of me. I stared at her and grinned before pulling her arms down, causing her to shriek while crashing on top of my body.

Chuckling, I hugged my woman and kissed her cheek. "Thought you're busy?"

"Never too busy for you". Amanda's lips smacked my cheek twice.

"So—", she relaxed beside me—both of us facing the sea. "What time are you getting dressed? You don't look like you wanna change anytime soon". She laughed softly after glancing at my unruly pajamas. Pang ilang araw ko na rin naman kasi na suot ito. Isa lang binaon ko, eh.

"I'll shower in an hour". My body shifted to face my girlfriend — I smirked. Girlfriend it is. "Wanna shower with me?" I whispered behind her ear — tickling her neck.

"What's up with you and the tickling today?" She giggled and curled up. Wala lang akong magawa, besides, she looks cute kapag nakikiliti rin.

"Not here—", she pursed her lips. But her body was trembling with the laughter.
