"Thanks to Ally's advertising technique, I know for sure there will be some people here Sunday," Jesus said.
"Wait really?" Billy asked.
"Yup!" Ally said, "All thanks to me, hear that, boys?"
"Now what?" I asked Jesus.
He took a moment before responding, "I must leave, and you will preach."
"You must leave?" Zack asked sadly. No one else spoke. We all knew this was coming some way or another.
"Not fully," Jesus responded. "I will always be here." He pointed at Zack's heart. "I'm not leaving you." He softly smiled, "but yes. It's time. I've done what I've come to do." He winked at me. "You. You will preach a sermon."
"I'm 15," I reminded him.
He laughed, "I am aware, Max. It's time though. We've prepared you enough. I'm here with you, you'll manage. I promise."
Solemnly, Jesus then said, "I leave tomorrow at sunrise, children."
