When my sister skipped school, I knew why she did that , Especially when Edward wasn't at the school too.What i didn't know is, that my twin will start to slowly grow distant from me. it's like she knew she can't lie to me so she avoided me like the plague.
it helps when Mr Cullen became her designated driver. It honestly dissapointed me. I didn't want this to end up like those wattpad stories where bella just flat out cut everyone out and became devoted to syr Edward completly. I won't allow it!
So, After she came back from her little wood date she found me standing on the doorway with my arms crossed " Hey Isabella, Did you have fun sneaking around without telling anything to your twin" i smiled bitterly
" I mean I'm not Jessica or anything, just a mere twin of yours" I knew it was toxic of me to play the guilt trip card but did I lie tho? She told Jessica more about her and edward's relationship then she did me ! it was driving me crazy!
she looked down blushing " uhh I'm not sneaking around liz... it's just i have nothing to talk about " she pushed her way inside the house with me following her.
" Oh yeah? let's start with how the fuck you went from Edward hates me to Me and Edward might be the next America's sweethearts" I was not giving up on our relationship but I also was angry at her for not trusting me with even the vague details.
she sat down on the couch, making herself small as she looked at her feet thinking " I know I'm sorry i just didn't know how to start the conversation" she kept calm knowing that she's wrong for not talking to me about it.
"I mean i understand that we each have a life of our own and we are entiteled to have our own secrets but come on? not even a little heads up?" I was holding tears at this point.
I hate not being close to my only sibling here...
Bella hugged me tightly " I know Lizzy, I'm sorry. We never kept secrets from eachother and i just didn't know how to appraoch it... You know You're my human diary " she comforted me
i nodded "then start talking , I bought chocolate mint ice cream for you " i pouted pointing at the fridge. she smiled getting up to get it. I knew Bella likes that flavor which i don't get it but i also will eat anything that is creamy, sweet and cold at this point.
Bella spent hours talking about her inner feelings and her turmoil. Ofcourse leaving out the supernatural details. She told me about how he saved her in Port Angeles and went for dinner. then, they just got along and talked. She told me that she skipped school to go on a date with him in his favorite place in the forest which where i had to shut up and not say that it's some serial killer vibe. By the time our dad cmae home, we almost finished our ice cream and we both were laughing at how the girls reacted the day they came to school together.
Charlie smiled at us warmly as I suggested to order takeouts and have some family time including him . And so that how we spent our evening, talking or commenting on recent events. I felt like I became the glue that ties bella and charlie together since they are both not very conversationalists and very awkward. I didn't mind tho, I'll do anything to get bella and charlie to get closer and feel like family again.
