Hospital for souls

The first thing i heard when i came into conciousness is the humming of the heart monitors and the feeling of something in my nose.

I peeled my eyes open seeing a Hospital ceilling, blinking to clear my vision, the face of my dad interrupted my confusion.

" Hey kiddo" He said softly 

" dad" my voice came coarse and scratchy as my throat burned from the effort .

my dad noticed and gave me a cup of water with a straw.

as I drink eagerly from the cup, memories of what happened played in my mind.

I looked around the room seeing that I was alone with my dad 

" Where's bella?" I panicked fearing the worst 

" she's in the next room with your mom " the fact that he excluded Edward showed just how much he's angry with him.

I took a moment to collect a lie or try to guess what did the cullens said 

" I'm sorry" i started. It was a strategy to get my dad talking 

" let's not talk about it now ... rest, I'll call your mom " he said curtly, obviously angry with both of us .

I closed my eyes nodding and he left. 

It was that time I noticed my right leg being lifted and surrounded by metal needles that looks scary.

I thought it'll only need a cast not some Frankensteinish gadget .

I sighed closing my eyes to stop my head from spinning. 

" Hey" the soft smooth voice indicated that a Cullen is talking to me .

I opened my eyes to Dr Cullen smiling softly at me... Almost in pity . Maybe because I was thrown into this with no heads up, or the fact that i was kidnaped by a psycho vampire and survived it.

" How are you feeling?" he asked 

" numb and confused ..... how did you explain all this? " he looked down .

  " You sneaked out and came to us to convince edward to go after your sister.  you came with us and when we found Bella, you both argued and Bella slipped , you tried to save her from falling on the stairs but she only dragged you with her making you lose your balance too and fall down breaking your leg while bella fell and crashed into a window" he explained .

I imagined it over trying to look for plot holes to fill and sighed

" what's the real story" 

" we'll tell you later, your mom is near " by that he dissapeared,two seconds later, my mom came in looking tired and worried .

" hey babyy, you're up " she hugged me lightly 

I smiled at her, missing her . " I told you, Bella's clumsiness rubbed up on me" she smiled sadly at me 

" how is she?" I asked worried , she looked at my leg and then me 

" broken leg, and couple of cuts, she lost a lot of blood but thankfully she'll be okay" she informed me. I sighed relaxing in the uncomfortable Hospital bed 

" but...." she paused 

I looked at her, bracing myself for her what happened question or some other question but what came out of her mouth was worse.

" Your injury was worse, the bone was crushed into peices and you had to go through a complicated surgery .... you scared us to death, "

"whaat? " I can feel my eyes watering fearing the worse 

" the surgery succeeded but ..... lizzy, you might never be able to dance again" she said , her green eyes mirroring mine and tearing up

My heart shattered, I never knew I'll be devestated from losing my ballet carreer! 

she held my hand trying to comfort me " we will get through this, you'll come with me and will get you the best physiotherapist in Jacksonville " she tried to reassure me 

I didn't try to say anything " I need some time alone please " I looked at the ceiling feeling my tears falling. Renee nodded and left.

I just kept crying, I needed to feel this so I can get through it. It wasn't my fault that a psycho vampire decided to use me as bait !

It's just a very sad moment making me feel the new moon era coming.

In fact it's already new moon for me .
