" there you go all patched up .. replace the gauze once every day... it's not that deep but still needs to be attended to " the nice nurse smiled at me...
" thank you, Mrs. Lindsey " I thanked her while standing up...
Bella was waiting for me holding my backpack as she shuffled from feet to feet 

" and here I thought I'm the one who'll meet the Forks medical staff first " Bella smirked at me .. I rolled my eyes.
" yeah.. your deadly clumsiness has rubbed up on me " I showed her my injured left hand and she cringed
" at least you didn't pass out from smelling the blood " I added
She rolled her eyes " it's not too late to do so"
I laughed taking my backpack from her as she seems to barely walk without the weight of my backpack

" did you see that Edward Cullen.. he was looking at me like I reek and he wants to kill me or something " she noted
" uhhh yeah there's always that weird kid in class " I joked knowing exactly why he was looking at her that way.

we walked in silence toward the front office to get our slips back with the teachers' signatures.

" let me give her yours too and  you can wait for me in the car " she handed me the keys and I nodded shrugging..guess I won't be smacking a virgin vampire for being rude to my sister...yet

I hummed walking to the parking lot " somebody come get her she's dancing like a stripper" I sang to myself, I swear the only thing I miss from my life is Tik-Tok. I remember how lonely and depressed my life was..or is.. I don't know yet, maybe the dream will end and I'll have to wake up to my shitty apartment again 

" Hey..how's your hand?" mike said in front of his friend's group 

" I may or may not become a zombie worm girl superhero " I joked ..he laughed imitating a zombie walk 

" gotta sign up for the morgue pretty soon..think platinum white hair will look good on me? " he titled his head not understanding 

" zombie jokes are....dead" he laughed his fake laugh as Jessica followed him

" Okey gotta go... see ya" we waved goodbye and I waited for Bella to catch up ..she looked so hurt and paler than ever 

" Are you alright sis?" I asked 

" umm yeah? I met Edward inside the front office and he was practically begging the woman to switch his biology class with anything ..and then he looked at me and said I guess I'll just endure it...with so much malice in his voice and stormed off" she explained almost about to cry.

" what's his problem? I'll go see what's his problem" her eyes widened and she held me from going near the Cullens who are standing like status for a second and then entered their cars 

I wasn't gonna go confront them cause that might make them leave the town once and for all...

I complied and walked to the passenger seat; Bella drove off from school to The Carver Cafe where we will eat dinner with dad, my twin was silent in the entire drive and I was trying to remember how flip phones used to work and the cute iPod I own. 

"I can't believe how grown you girls are" Cora smiled at us, we both smiled back as Waylon... oh god he's gonna die a few days ... interfered 

" Hey Bella, Liz" he licked his lips nervously looking at my dad for a bit 

" R-Remember me?" Bella looked at me for help and then at my dad ... I smiled nodding 

" Of course! you played Santa once and gave us those little bottles and stuff" I smiled at him widely 

" you remember? You were four" Dad looked surprised and Waylon grinned happily nodding 

" memory of an Elephant" they all laughed 

" alright let the girls eat their garden burgers Waylon" Cora smiled shooing him off and turned to us with a warm smile 

" as soon as you done, I will bring you your favorite... Berry Tartlets remember?"

she leaned on the table " your Dad still has them ...every Thursday" she gave Charlie a look 

As the shy man literally buried his face in his plate ...

we both nodded in sync " thank you... It'll be great" Bella answered and the waitress smiled satisfied and left.

I looked around the place, noticing the horns decor, so many lumberjacks and Fishermen bringing the scent of the ocean and forest with them ... I liked it..it felt cozy here...

it also worked as a distraction, tuning out my dad and sister's conversation that was mostly awkward silence 

" does it still hurt?" my dad asked me about my little accident for the tenth time... I totally appreciate his concern but it also made me roll my eyes this time

" dad it's just a small gash and the nurse cleaned it off easily... it's not that bad" I answered he nodded and continued eating his stake 

we returned to our small house where Bella and I raced to our temporarily shared room and took turned to shower and get ready for homework time

there wasn't a lot since it was our first day but Bella kept nagging that If I didn't do them, they'll pile up.

 Bella sat on her bed doing math while I sat on the old desk that has a computer, I tried to open google on it and it took literally five minutes! so I gave up and did history with no help from the internet 

I keep thinking of who am I gonna get paired with... it's exciting yet terrifying. what if I have no supernatural bae? what if I'm paired with a pack member.. hopefully Leah! she's so Hot and her whole ' I'm a heartbroken badass ' glare gets me... maybe I should casually visit the reservation? omg! what if my mate is from the Volturi! WTF nooo, I can't live with vampire Pennywise the Dancing Clown! AKA Aro. What if I'm paired with one of The Denali Coven, also hopefully it's Kate.. she can electrocute me anytime!

as I'm daydreaming about who's my love interest will be. Bella's phone rang, she answered it speaking to my mom who dropped so many questions in one breath. Bella held the phone between us with the speaker on.

Bella missed our mom so much and it showed... I kinda didn't really care, we need this plot moving forward

" tell me more about your school, what are the kids like? Lizzy, did you make new friends? " 

" yeah...Bella did .. I didn't, in fact, I think we are switching roles here" I smiled as Bella rolled her eyes 

" I got infected by Bells clumsiness and I became a clumsy bookworm...help" my mom laughed used to us making fun of each other 

" Ooo is there any cute guys...or girls,"  mom asked; adding the girls part for me 

" Ooo mom I have some tea... Elizabeth Marie Cullen is actually interested in a boy.. a real boy not Mr. Heathcliff " I gossiped earning a shoulder push from my brunette twin 

" oh really! what's his name " my mom asked excitedly 

" it doesn't matter.-" mom cut her off " yes it does honey" her voice soften as she realized it was not a happy thing to talk about 

" W-We have homework to do..talk to you later bye mom, we love you " she hung up with a small pout 

" what?" she closed her book with agitation

"I'm not interested in him" she bit her lip 

" gurl don't lie to your twin..hell to the yeah you are and that's okay --" she cut me off 

" you weren't there in the office room... he was looking at me with so much hate, I don't even know how can a person hate someone so much without even knowing them" she rambled 

I sat on her bed " well, tomorrow, talk to him and demand what's his problem with you... or I will, with my fist  " Bella snorted 

" for a delicate ballerina ... you sure are very aggressive" she grinned 

I hugged her shoulders  " yeah.. been thinking to join a Roller Derby group " I smiled back
