This was a request by- Georgie_3000 Summary- y/n is Tuwaines little sister but also paddy's girlfriend. She hates singing in front of people but one day paddy comes over as a surprise and hears her. Paddy's pov
Today I'm going over to my girlfriends. We hardly ever see each other because we go to different schools and she works in the evenings. And on weekends she works full time. Luckily this weekend I know she has it off so I'm going to visit.
I pack up my things and grab my phone once it goes off.

I feel bad because I can tell she's disappointed. Once she sees me she will be so happy though so I guess it's worth lying. I text Tom and he agrees to pick me up and drop me at Tuwaines house (as tuwaine is her brother).
"So are you excited to see y/n?" My brother asks as he drives. I look at him and nod.
"I'm really excited I've missed her" I say and Tom nods understandingly.
"So Tom..." I say and he turns to me and gives me a 'go on' look before looking back at the road.
"Tuwaine says that y/n can sing is that true?" Tom chuckles lightly and shakes his head whilst smiling.
"She is an incredible singer but I'm sure you've heard her so why ask?"
"That's the thing I haven't heard her sing before she never lets me" I huff and toms sighs.
"I'm sure she's just nervous" he says and I nod.
We arrive at Tuwaines house and I knock on the door lightly. Tuwaine answers it and gives me a hug. He knows I'm here to surprise her so we stay quiet.
I walk up to her room and just as I'm about to open it I hear singing. I rest my ear against the door and listen.
"Don't cut me down, throw me out, leave me here to waste" she sings softly. I keep listening as a smile grows on my face.
"I once was a man with dignity and grace" she sings and I hear movement in her room. I think she may be sitting at her desk now.
Y/n POV
I'm sitting at my desk singing like most days. I only ever sing alone because I hate when other people hear. My favourite sad song is 'let me down slowly' I don't know why it's just so beautiful.
I continue singing as I look over some exam notes. God I wish my boyfriend was here I've missed him so much.
"Now I'm slippin' through the cracks of your cold embrace So please, please" I sing softly as I twirl my hair in my fingers.

As I go to sing the next lyrics of the song somebody cuts me off. I hear a low voice sing the next lyrics.
"If you wanna go then I'll be so lonely If you're leavin', baby, let me down slowly" I turn around to see my boyfriend paddy standing there.
"PADDY" I shout and run into his arms. He cups my face and pulls me in for a kiss. He then pulls away and hugs me tighter.
"I missed you so much angel" he says making me giggle and smile.
"I missed you too" I say and he pulls my face to look at his. A cheeky grin comes onto his face.
"What?" I ask hesitantly as I raise an eyebrow.
"You are an amazing singer" I chuckle and bury my face into his neck from embarrassment. He chuckles.
"I love you"
"I love you to paddy but I swear to fucking god if you ever try to listen to me singing again I'll kill you" I say and he smiles nodding kissing me again.
