Quarantine anouncement- tom holland

An- this is set back at the first lockdown in England so just remember that if it gets confusing.
Summary- Tom has his friends over and the lockdown gets announced. His girlfriend wants to be back with her family but he wants her with him and the guys. You have a kid already and you don't think that it's the right time for them to meet.

Toms POV

Today I am having my mates over for dinner. That includes Harry, T and Haz. My girlfriend has been staying with me for about three weeks. We are usually long distant but she wanted to stay for a bit. And I can't deny that it's been the most amazing three weeks ever. The new Covid outbreak has occurred but our country seems pretty fine. Tonight there's an announcement on the tv so me and my friends are gonna watch it.

"Tom?" I hear my girlfriend call from the kitchen.

"Yeah"

"I'm not sure what to make for dinner for everyone what do you think?"

"Maybe something easy like pasta?" I suggest and get no response. I then hear a knock at the door and go to answer it. Surely enough all three of my mates are here. They come in the house and sit on the couch. Y/n walks in with a troubled look on her face.

Y/n POV

"What's wrong?" Tom asks me and I just stand there in shock. Harry walks up to me and puts his hand on my shoulder.

"We are going in to a national lockdown"

"What!?" All four boys exclaim.

"Tom I'll be back down in a minute I need to go and pack my things I have to go to my parents now" I state about to walk up the stairs however a hand grabs my wrist and stops me.

"Or..." Tom says

"Or you could stay here With me. Harry and the rest could all come and stay here and you could too. It would be fun love"

"I don't know Tom we don't know how long this is gonna be"

"We can FaceTime your family as much as you want I promise"

"Come on y/n it will be fun" Haz says with a smile. I really want to but my entire family are all together without me.

"What about my baby. It's too much to ask you to have a baby here for a while. She's already been here for 3 weeks Tom."

"Y/n I love Anna I want her to stay okay?"

"Alright fine" I sigh and he hugs and kisses me with excitement. Just as he finishes Anna starts crying.

"I'll be right back" I say as I go to get Anna. I look at my one year old and tears fill my eyes. Her dad hates me he wants nothing to do with her. He left me when I was 2 months because he loved my ex best friend. I hated that my daughter had no dad in her life it sucked. However she gets a lot of love from me more than anyone else could ever give her.

I carry her downstairs on my hip and put her in her high chair. I kiss her forehead and grab her some dinner. I start feeding her and Tom walks in the room with Haz.

"Dada" she says to Tom and I become immediately confused. Toms eyes widen.

"Erm no baby that's not dada" I frown and kiss her cheek.

"I mean I was there when she was born"

"Are you saying you want to be her dad"

"Yeah I do. I love this girl and this is the perfect way to spend a lockdown. I wanna be her real dad. Not just because I'm with you but because I have helped raise her. Of course we are long distant but who held your hand when she was born? Me. Who fed her the first real food she tried? Me. I may not see her all the time but I'm the most real father figure she has" I start crying at his words

"Anna" I say and the baby turns to me.

"This is your dad" I say and Tom hugs me fro behind. What a perfect way to start a lockdown.
