Summary- the doctor tells you that you are having twins! You and paddy weeks later at the baby shower tell everyone and everyone is very excited for you.
"Okay so before I tell you I want you to know that nothing is wrong" she says making paddy and I sigh out in relief. But that only lasts a moment before we start to wonder what we are here for.
"So what is happening exactly?" Paddy chuckles nervously and I return it looking at the doctor worriedly. She then smiles and grabs out a picture of my recent scan.
"So we hadn't noticed this before but you see here is your little baby and if you look to the left of it there's another blob that looks the same it was just previously hiding behind the other one" she says and both our brows furrow.
"So.....?" Paddy asks hesitantly wanting to confirm what we are both thinking.
"So you are having twins! You have two miracles!" She says making us both jump up in excitement and hug each other tightly. He then pulls away and crouches down to speak to my stomach.
"There's two of you!" He shouts excitedly making me giggle and thank the doctor.
Today paddy and I have our baby shower for the gender. When we told everyone we were having a baby they were excited. But we never told anyone there was two. So today at the gender reveal we will not only be find out the genders but telling everyone I'm having twins.
"Hey paddy hide the boxes in the spare room so no one notices it before the surprise" I say excitedly whilst putting my dress on.
"I'm so excited to find out we could have one of each or two of the same!" He sighs and I nod smiling.
So for the first baby we've bought a cake so we will know one. That's baby a. Then we will bring the boxes now to show that there's two. We will open baby a's box first and then find out baby b.
I set up the stuff outside and put the food and drinks out. I bought alcohol for people who can have it and soft drinks for people who can't. It starts at 2 and it's currently 1:30.

Everyone starts arriving and we set up. I'm full of nerves and excitement. The only person other than paddy and I who knows about the twins is my sister because I'm England when you have gender reveals someone has to know. In America the doctor will write it in an envelope they don't really do that here :) so my sister found out so she could organise everything.
"Hey everyone so let's head out and cut the cake I can't wait to find out!" I say excitedly and everyone heads outside. Paddy wraps his arms around my and then places his hand on mine as we cut the cake. We then pull it out and everyone starts cheering.

"THE FIRST ONE IS A GIRL" I squeal and hug paddy making everyone go silent in confusion.
"Okay so that made it a bit obvious but paddy and I have a surprise" I say and everyone starts getting really nervous making me giggle.
"We are having twins!" I say and everyone cheers congratulating us. My sister then brings down the boxes.
"So that cake was the gender of baby a" paddy says opening baby a box as pink balloons flow out of it.
"And this is baby b" paddy and I say as we open the box together. As soon as we do screams fill the garden as everyone starts hugging us.
"Oh honey I'm so happy for you, you and paddy are going to be amazing parents" Nikki says making me smile as we both laugh at the fact we are both now crying. Paddy then comes over to me and picks me up. I wrap my legs around his waist as he kisses me softly.
"I can't believe it" he says happily and I nod kissing him again.
