He watched as Tommy coughed into his arm again, and saw his head lift up, supposedly him sniffling. His red nose almost seemed to shine, glowingly.

"Tommy?" Wilbur stood, and walked down to him.

"I'll be careful, don't worry. I'm just watching!" Tommy told him, expecting a question.

Wilbur had a look down for himself, seeing the people carrying things from shop to shop, others hanging sheets and other clothes on laundry lines, and people starting to hang lights for the upcoming holiday.

"I can't wait for Thanksgiving!" Tommy exclaimed, seeing people come back with loads of food.

There were many exciting things to think about as a child, your birthday, holidays, or even another day off from daily adventures. The sun to the side of them shone brightly, blanketing them in a warm sun as the two conversed at the top of their hill. Conversing just as the rest of the people downtown were together about anything and everything.

"Oh? Well tell me one thing your thankful for." Wilbur asked of Tommy.

Tommy hummed to himself, thinking of all the wholesome possibilities. He could say a million things. Wilbur wondered what went on in a young child's head. He knew what he thought of but the thought another human with a brain like his was standing with him was still enough to make him wonder more about the world.

"I'm thankful for you! Dad, Techno.. And the food of course!" Tommy finally answered after gathering ideas.

A poor young boy didn't ever think he would have to miss such a holiday, then again, no one did either. You can't blame a young boy for not knowing anything yet, he's barely old enough to wrap his head around the concept. You can't blame people for being unknowing, but being blunt or stubborn is something Tommy was never good at.

"I'm thankful for you too, Tom." Wilbur smiled, and heard the pattering of Sally come back outside from within the stone castle entrance.

---

"Will, he said he would meet with you for a little right now if you don't mind." Sally said, stopping by the quilt. "He's in the throne room now."

Wilbur turned around.

"Oh.. Sure, I'll meet with him now. I guess I'll take Tommy in later tonight then."

"Oh, I'll take him if you need." Sally requested.

Wilbur shrugged, and gently pulled Tommy away from the ledge.

"If you can, I just want to check him up, nothing too serious." Wilbur stated.

Sally nodded, and took Tommy's hand.

"It's no problem, We'll be back soon, and trust me.. I'm sure Tommy will be better before you know it." Sally started down the dirt pathway in front of them. Tommy's warm hand in hers.

Wilbur took a shaky breath out and composed himself. The entrance room was filled with gorgeous colors bouncing off the stained glass and chandelier, the gold rim tracing the empty lanterns, everything glistering with the warm afternoon sun shining on it. His footsteps echoed, which made him think the mice in the walls across the whole castle would hear him.

He walked forward, and stepped into the left hallway. The shelves along the wall housed many different pictures, and artifacts from the family's ancestors. The shelves stopped at each tall window, which had its very own shiny frame. The opposing wall was fairly blank, with nothing much on the wallpaper.

He turned the corner, and came up to the door at the end of the hall. This door led to the side entrance of the throne room. Wilbur carefully opened the door, and peered through. Techno sat upon the throne on top of the stairs, the red carpet leading down them and through to the front entrance.
