They have been at the dance for some hours,most of the time spent dancing,and now they were chilling by the table.As they were talking,a slow song started to play,the couples immediately standing up taking their place to the dance floor.Ej stood up catching Gina's attention.
''Gi,do you maybe wanna dance?''he said nervously.
''Oh,um.''she turned to Nini,wanting to make sure she would be okay without her.
''You'll be fine on your own for a while?''
Nini let out a laugh.''Yes,Gi,I'll survive alone for a few songs.''
''Okay,but tell me if u need anything.''she said and grabbed Ej's hand,letting him guide her.
Nini sighed when she was left alone,as she watched all the happy couples slow dancing together.
A few minutes later she felt a presence next to her,looking up to see a boy taking the seat next to her.
''Let me guess,your whole friend group is out there dancing with their significant other,huh?Because same.''he said.
She let out a laugh.''Yes something like that.''
He turned more to her and gave her his hand.''Aiden.''
She shook it laughing.''I know your name Aiden,we have been going to school together since we were 13.''
''Just making sure,Nini.''he said.''So why aren't you out there dancing with someone,if you don't mind me asking?''
''Oh''she looked at her lap.''I don't know.''
''Well.''he stood up and stretched out his hand.''Dance with me.''he offered with a cheeky smile.
Nini hesitated,looking at the dance floor,where she could see Kourtney mouthing 'say yes'.
''Why not?'' she grinned and grabbed his hand,making their way towards the other couples.Aiden moved closer to her,placing his hands on her waist while she circled her around his neck,dancing slowly to the rhythm.

On the other side of the room,Ricky was dancing with Allison.He let his eyes drift through the room, when he noticed Nini dancing with a guy giggling non-stop.He stiffened at the sight,not understanding why it bothered him seeing her with someone else.Ej's words came to mind 'what is the real reason you don't want to set her up with one of your friends'.He wondered the same but he couldn't understand why and sticked to his reasoning.He never had any romantic feelings for his long time best friend and he doubted he could ever have.So why was he feeling like this?
