It was Monday morning,and Nini was running around trying to fix up everything so she could make it in time for school.
''Mom,where are you?We have to go now.''she yelled.
Mama D appeared,going down the stairs''I'm ready honey,let's go.''she said grabbing her keys.
Nini grabbed her bag and locked the door behind her,getting into her mom's car.
The short drive to the school was calm,a smile painted on her face thinking of the day ahead.Mondays seem to be one of Nini's favourite days,since most of her classes were shared with Ricky and they were only seeing Allison in lunch.She knew it was futile to get happy over something like that but she couldn't help it.

''We're here.'her mom said and gave her a kiss on the cheek.''Have a great day sweetheart.''
Nini smiled.''You too Mom.''

She quickly got out of the car,spotting Ricky at the entrance waiting for her and walked towards him.

''God Neens,what took you so long?AP English starts in five minutes.''he said and started walking towards the classroom.

Nini walked beside him and adjusted her bag.''Sorry,my mom took so much time to get ready,and you know i still don't have my drivers license.''she muttered ,slightly embarrassed.''But I have an appointment next month,and I'm not failing this time.''she said as they got into the classroom.

''I hope so Neens,then you can drive up to my house or I don't know, drive the group around when we go out.''

She looked at him,taking her seat next to his,deciding not to point out he was hardly  in any group hang outs the past months.Instead she smiled and said ''Yeah,maybe.'' before the teacher walked in and the class began.
