It's been a week of Nini avoiding Ricky and his incessant calls and texts.She did her best to not run into him in school by changing seats in the classes she had with him so he wouldn't get to talk to her and by sitting with Aiden and her friends separately at lunch for the past days.She knew she had to face him at some point,given that she missed Gina,Ashlyn and Ej but she was not ready yet.

Right now her and Kourtney were sprawled out on her bed,the latter scrolling through Twitter,letting a gasp when she saw something.Nini looked up from her phone.''What happened?''
''Ricky removed Allison from his location.''she said.''And hold on-,he unfollowed her.''
''Oh.''Nini muttered.
''Oh?Neens that's all you have to say?''she asked with raised brows.
''I don't know what I am supposed to say to that.They broke up again,good for him,I guess.''she said annoyed.
Kourtney sighed and closed her phone.''Neens,don't you think it's time for you to talk to him?''
''What? You're the one who said-''
''I know what I said.Ricky has been a total asshole but this,him not coming to something this important to you,doesn't make sense to me.I think you should hear him out.''
Nini deeply sighed and laid down on her bed looking at the ceiling. ''I don't know Kourt.He keeps texting and calling but I don't really want to talk to him.''
''Then why haven't you blocked him yet?''
''I-I don't know.''she muttered.
''Look,you should talk to him whenever you're ready,because he has hurt you a lot,but you should at one point.Do you really want Ricky out of your life completely?Can you really imagine that?''
Nini sighed deeply again,tears prickling at her eyes at the thought of Ricky not being in her life at all.''No of course not,I don't want to imagine that.But I need some time still.But I promise I will talk to him in a few days and hear him out.''she said.
''Good.''
''Okay,this got kind of sad,let's talk about something else.''
Kourtney smirked.''Something like your crush on Aiden?'' she teased.
Nini felt a blush creeping up on her cheeks.''I don't have a crush.'' she remarked at the same time her phone lit up,signing a notification.She quickly grabbed it and opened it,a giggle leaving her lips at the message she got.
''Is that why you're giggling like that when he texts you?'' Kourtney snickered.
Nini typed up a response and gave her a look.''You don't know that's him.''
''Then who was it?'' she asked suspiciously.
''Aiden.'' she muttered.
''Oh my god,just admit it already.''
''Fine! It's just a small,tiny crush.It will go away.''
''I knew it.''Kourtney yelled with a smug smile.''Wait why would it go away?He obviously likes you back.''
''You think so?'' she asked shyly.
''That boy is smitten for sure.''
A smile took over her face and a small blush covered her cheeks.''Yeah you might be right.''
''Tiny crush my ass.'' she laughed.
''Shut up!'' Nini exclaimed throwing a pillow at Kourtney.
''Did you just throw a pillow at my face?''
''Yes yes,I very much did.'' she said with a smile.
''You're such a dork.'' Kourtney laughed.
