chapter six

Daryl's POV

"What the hell?" I mumble after I have fallen onto the floor. Stumbling up, I grab my knife and ready myself for a walker to attack me.

"Daryl?" I look straight up at Rick, Glenn, Maggie and Carl, "Well that was easy," Rick chuckles and pulls me into a hug.

"Too easy," I say and greet the rest of them, "What are you guys doing out here?"

"Looking for you, and hopefully Beth," Maggie says.

"Beth is back at our..camp," I sigh, "I was coming to look for you guys."

"Well this makes things easy. Have you seen anybody else?" Rick asks.

"Nope," I reply.

"Did you just leave Beth all alone?" Maggie asks.

"Yeah."

"Oh my god, where is she?"

"Not too far."

Beth's POV

"What the hell do you want with me?" my voice cracks.

"If I told you, it would ruin the fun, now would it?" the man says, smiling.

He put me in a car, and is driving somewhere.

"Can I at least know your name?"

"You can call me...Jordan."

I roll my eyes and look out the window.

"Where are we going?"

"You ask a lot of questions, dear," Jordan says.

"You don't have many answers," I snap.

"Ooh feisty, I like it," He looks back at me and smiles. I roll me eyes at him and he chuckles, "You're awfully comfy for being kidnapped."

"You're awfully cocky for an idiot."

"Is that so, dear?"

"Daryl will find me," I say, trying to convince myself than him.

"Sure, dear," I can tell he's smiling by his tone, and I don't reply.

The daytime falls into night time and my mind runs in circles, thinking about Daryl and Maggie, just hoping one of them would find me. How things left off last night with Daryl, I wish I had gone after him and talked. But I don't believe that will be the last I see him.

Daryl's POV

"He we are," I announce and Maggie runs into the house.

"Beth?" she shouts running around the house. We all join her inside as she continues to run around, "Daryl, why isn't she replying?"

"Maybe she's outside," I say and walk outside, but nobody is there.

Maggie steps outside too and sighs.

"Great job Daryl."
