Beth's POV
"Are you fucking kidding me? We don't have time for this Jordan! We have to go," Daryl yells furiously and Jordan glares at him.
"I need something. I can't leave it behind," Jordan says calmly, too calmly but anyone could tell by his the dissatisfied look on his face he is not calm.
Daryl continues to pull my arm, urging me to keep moving. The house is being over run by walkers and over everything, he keeps prioritizing me. Maggie and Glenn are gathering everyone up while fighting off the walkers the best they can and Jordan is the only one that is holding us back from leaving. Rick has Carl ready to go and is finding a safe route to get out. Daryl begins to get even more angry and shakes his head before turning me away from Jordan and looking into my eyes.
"We need to just leave him," he says and I shuffle back a bit by his words, for no reason they upset me.
"We can't do that," I chuckle lightly and shake my head at him.
"We have to," Daryl starts walking away from me, probably thinking that I am behind him. Jordan grips my wrist and tugs me back into him, then wraps his arms around me.
"Good girl, that serum definitely worked on you," his voice is low and he whispers into my ear, "I was looking for you,"
Instinctively, I follow him outside into the backyard, where there seems to be no walkers.
"This is bullshit where did they all just go?" I slightly laugh, shocked but way too calm at the same time.
"That's the thing I never told you,"
"What?" I step over a bush, and follow him to the gate at the back of the yard. I branch grabs me and I tumble to the ground. Jordan turns around and kneels down, extending a hand.
" Vzbudit," he says and something awakens in me, and everything comes flooding back. Every atom in my body begins to ache, and I want to run to Daryl. But instead I grab his hand and I stand up. The feeling disappears, "There we go, much better," he chuckles, "Remember a few things now?"
Staying silent I nod my head while he stares at me intensely. The only unnerving thing about this is my reaction. I could be screaming for Daryl right now, running or anything but I feel pressured to comply.
He leads me to a car and forces me inside it. We speed off away from the house, attracting the attention of walkers and some of the group. Some of them remain fighting and pushing along, but Daryl makes eye contact with me and emotion flashes over his eyes. My heart sinks, and I begin to scream. I feel the want to fight Jordan, but I can't. All I can do is scream and watch Daryl as we drive by. I can see him in my review mirror running after us, and then fall to his knees and hang his head low. Then a strike meets my head and I'm out.
Next thing that happens, I'm lying on a table. An itch rises on my nose, and my hand moves up to itch it, but is stopped. I'm strapped down and Jordan smirks from above me.
"Now you're gonna hate me for this doll, but it's gotta be done. Think of it as a sacrifice for humanity," he says.
I turn my head to see what he is messing with. It appears as if we are in a dentist office, but more high tech, "What is this place?" I ask.
"It's where we are either going to save the world, or kill you," my blood runs cold at his words.
"What?"
"Goodnight," he injects something into my arm, and my throat begins to tighten and I can't breathe.
The lights go out, and my heart stops.
