Vaggie's Ending : Esperandote

"I......I choose Vaggie.....", I muttered quietly.

"Huh, the lesbian? Surely you don't really mean her now, I mean she hates men and she previously dated my granddaughter, and I'm pretty sure she wouldn't want to be anywhere near you, are you still sure?"

"I.....I'm sure."

"Hm, interesting choice.....as in I'm confused why you would choose her."

"I just have a soft spot for her alright, besides.....she did kind of save me one time from him."

".......very well, if you truly want to spend purgatory with her, then the one you call Vaggie shall spend it with you.", God said as he snapped his fingers, a grey door appeared next to him."

"I.....I guess this is it", I said to myself before walking inside the place where the door opened.

"I don't know Dave, I......maybe I think if I hold onto him or at least a part of him then maybe....maybe I could have that type of comfort with me."

"I understand, but you need to learn to move on Arthur, I could only do so much. It's been nearly 10 years and you're nearly twenty, it's time to move on, cause if you don't then.....then you'll end up like her."

"L.....like who."

"It's best if you don't know about Arthur, the less you know the better. But if you must know, she dated your brother for quite some time but.....something happened between them."

"I.....I understand Dave, I don't know......lately everything's just been weird......I don't know if it's my lack of sleep or, maybe it's just my mind."

"You probably have your answer then, that being said.....I think it's best if you have this. It was your brothers, he gave it to me, just in case something happened to him and if she's still around. To my knowledge she is not around here anymore but.....please be on edge, she's.....not really sane anymore. last I've heard of her, your brother told me she stormed off, and well.....here, you'll find out when you look at it.", Dave said while handing myme what seemed to be an old smartphone, presumingly my brothers.

"Thanks Dave, I have to go now.....sorry fir cutting it short."

"So soon?"

"Yeah, I have to tend to my brother's grave, not like the parents can do that anymore."

"I understand, we'll resume when you come back around kiddo, take care.", Dave said before shaking my hand.

I exited the door before looking at the receptionist.

"Oh, going so soon Arthur?"

"Yeah, gotta go pay my respects you know.....pretty much the only thing I could do now?"

"I understand, stay safe though Arthur, a woman came around here asking for you."

"I....who?"

"I'm not sure, she addressed herself as V.....you know anyone with that name?"

"No? What did she look like?"

"Oh well she looked like a beautiful young lady, I thought she might've been your girlfriend."
