After going into a shady alleyway I heard that same radio tune from before creeping up before me yet again, "Just show yourself already Alastor"

"Was I that noticeable young boy", Alastor said while appearing out of the shadows, brandishing his signature smile. "I may be subtle in what I do sometimes, but even I believe I wanted you to find out".

"But why, why are you doing this to me", I replied with anger and worry in my voice.

"Asking the same old questions everyone else says when they first drop, why does anyone do anything down here boy?", he questioned me.

"Care to answer that for me since you know so much about this place", I replied snarky.

As I stated that to him, he came closer to me smiling wider showing off his sharp teeth. Getting closer to my face without uttering a word.

"Don't get fresh with me kid", he said in a sinister tone, otherwise you'll end up like the other people who just ticked me off a little too much".

"W....what happened to t...t...them?", I replied in a scared tone.

"Why they work under me now young boyo", Alastor said right back in his cheery happy-go-lucky voice. "As for you now my young child I do hope you return to the hotel, who knows how those nightmares of yours will be like out here."

"Gee thanks for the encouraging words, do you even have to do these nightmares to me", I replied.

"Well no, not really, but whatever makes your life down here miserable as possible."

"What, you get you sick kicks off of people suffering"

"I see it as more of watching and hosting a game show, you are the contestant and I'm the host.", Alastor stated in a cheery tone. "I present your torturous life down here to these heathens and you present one hell of a performance."

"Was that pun intentional", I said

"Just letting you know to not wander too far out, you'll eventually reach Imp City, it'll be a shame if you were to get your nightmares out there."

"Why would that be?"

"Not very exciting over there, kind of expected more of them to be honest, the Imps I mean.

"What are Imps exactly", questioning Alastor.

"You'll find out soon enough, I mean you're bound to meet one eventually young lad."

"Last question, why do you always call me young lad, kid, or kiddo."

"Isn't it obvious, you're new here, it's sort of a nickname I gave to you and well...you're kind of on the short side."

"...Fair enough"

"I'll meet you back at the hotel, try not to get lost."

As soon as he said that I then heard the distortion of the radio grow louder, seeing Alastor disappear within the shadows he came from. Though as he left there was a note left on the ground. I walked closer to it hoping it didn't just say a random pun or random place I should visit.

"Hope you like the dark", is all that it had said.

"What does he mean by that", as I had finished the thought the radio noises appeared again, blasting my ears with its boisterous noise.

Looking back up, after the noise had worn off, everything was covered in a complete blanket of darkness. Feeling helpless I noticed a flickering light below where the note was. Picking up the flashlight I messed around with it before it stayed on. Pointing at the ground, I noticed the familiar blood, rusted, and dirt of the streets; similar to that of the hotel during my "nightmare"

"Why is everything dark, why does he like putting me here, why not the other places of hell people go through eternity, guess there's no reason for anything I suppose".
