v. July 4th, California, 2014

PARKER : (TEXTING) FIONA, we're still going today right?

FIONA : (texting) Yeah, why?

PARKER : (texting) No, we haven't spoken about it again earlier so. Yeah.

FIONA : (texting) When are we going then?

PARKER : (texting) I was thinking around three thirty, if that's fine with you.

FIONA : (texting) Yeah, alright.

PARKER : (texting) Where should we pick you up from?

FIONA : (texting) I'll come by the bar.

Parker texted Finn later that day if they would be going on three thirty. Finn said he would bring his girlfriend along. Parker seemed surprised at first because Finn didn't seem like that kind of a guy who did girl friends. He almost flirted with every girl wearing bikinis inside the bar.

On second thoughts, it probably was just because of the tips.

When Parker put down his phone and started heading towards home to change, he spotted Fiona. She was standing at the beach, next to a guy, quite muscular and attractive, laughing her heart out. Her hair was open, wet as usual, and the shawl she usually wore over her bikini was gone. Parker was eighty two point three percent sure she was flirting with him.

Parker quickly walked to his home.

After entering the house, Parker changed into a t-shirt that had 'NIRVANA' written on it, and his jeans and waited for the nurse to arrive. The nurse usually came when Parker had to go out, or if he would be running late for work.

When the doorbell rang, he opened the door expecting Nina, the nurse, but instead, it was Finn, a girl beside him and Fiona.

PARKER : Hey?

FINN : Sorry man, everyone was waiting at the bar for you, you didn't come so we figured we would come to just pick you up.

PARKER : Oh um. Okay, can we just wait until the nurse for my mom comes? She doesn't have a key.

FINN : Yeah, sure.

PARKER : (opening his door wider) Come in.

The three of them were ushered inside the messy house (Parker was horrible at house chores) and they all sat in the couch that was placed in front of the small T.V.

PARKER : Sorry for the mess, I haven't been cleaning up for weeks.

FIONA : S'okay.

FINN : Hey Parker, this is my girlfriend Liana, Liana, Parker.

LIANA : Hi.

PARKER : Hey.

They all sat together in an awkward silence, no one speaking. Finn was whispering questions to Liana every now and then, and Fiona was just looking around the whole house in awe.

When the doorbell rang, a look of relief pass through everyone's face.

-

FINN : It's not supposed to take very long. Depends on the traffic, one and a half hour max.

Finn was driving the car with Parker at the front and Liana and Fiona were at the back. Liana was very shy and didn't speak a word unless spoken too. Where as, all Fiona did was ask questions.
