CHAPTER 2

LISA POV

"LALISA!"

I look at Jennie and scoff "What Jennie?! He is prioritizing his fucking business trip over your wedding" I shout in anger that made Jennie look at him blankly and I'm glad that this dog requested for a VIP room

"Baby~" I watch this Jongin approach Jennie and hold her hand "Please....This is the last time I promise" He cups her face and kiss her lips "I just need to finish the business trip then I will be with you all the time" Kai smiles and brush Jennie's hair that made me cringe and nauseous

"Promise?" I look at Jennie pout. Oh how I wish she does that to me only...

"You know I keep my promises baby~ I love you" I quickly look away when they are being sweet again. I hold my chest as it continues to break into pieces every single time Jennie is with Kai

"Fine" I heard Jennie sigh and that breaks my heart more as Jennie obviously love him so much more than herself

"Thank you baby! Also I need to go...My assistant will keep in touch with you and the organizer" I glance at them and saw Kai kiss Jennie's forehead before leaving

"Y-yeah" Jennie looks down and I can see sadness in her eyes. I went to Jennie and hold her hand

"Will you still marry him?" I ask by keeping the pain inside me, avoiding to show my bestfriend that I am in deep pain. I know it's kinda obvious but I guess Jennie on thinks that I'm asking that because I'm her bestfriend

"He promise Lili he keeps his promises" Jennie looks up and smiles.

"Alright if you say so~" I smile back and I know I accidentally flash a fake one

"What's with the smile huh?" Jennie pinch my cheeks "I know you're mad at him but can you please give him a chance?" And there she goes...flashing her puppy eyes again that made me nod quickly

"I w-will if it's for you" I smile slightly

Jennie rolls her eyes and scoffs "Your smile Manoban! It's fake...Come on let's grab some ice cream"

"For real?" I flash a wide smile

"I'm kidding" Jennie giggles and I know she's teasing me. I raise my eyebrows then grab my phone and wallet and leave her alone

"LISAYAH! I'M KIDDING!"

JENNIE POV

I am currently watching Lisa buying our ice cream. She is an ideal girlfriend to be honest and I wonder why she doesn't have anyone yet.

Well honestly? I don't know what's with Lisa. I know she's sad. I can see it in her eyes and it's been 5 years already but I'm just waiting for her to tell me. Sometimes I wonder if I did something that made her like this because the Lisa I know is pretty vocal of her feelings towards me either its about something, someone or us

"A penny for your thoughts Ms. Kim?" Lisa hands me my ice cream and sits on the bench

"Are you alright?" I ask without hesitation but I just earn a laugh though it was a lot more different from 5 years ago. It was happy but has a mix of dryness

"Of course I am! What makes you think that?" Lisa put her arm around my shoulder  and continues eating her ice cream

"Well~ You were a lot more different 5 years ago~" I bite my lips in nervousness

"Huh?" Lisa looks at me "What is different Jennie?"

"Your smile, your laugh, yo-"

"I don't know what your talking about. Maybe my voice us much more mature" Lisa laughs and shakes her head

"Lisa~" I hold her hand and caress it with my thumb "You know that you can tell me anything right?"

"I know~but really Nini. I don't have anything to keep from you" Lisa smiles and again it's really different. It was a smile that hides many secrets, that shows pain with a mixture of happiness

"Alright?" I smile slightly and fake a cough "So when are you getting a girlfriend?"

"I have no plans"

"Wae?" I frown

"Nothing~ It's not your business anyway Nini" Lisa sighs

"Oh come on! We always update who is our crush back in highschool" I pout

"And that was back then!" Lisa raises her voice which happened for the first time in our life and I know she realized it "I-I'm sorry Nini"

"No~ I'm sorry. I think I'm digging up a lot" I look away

"Yah~" I feel Lisa's arms wrapping around my body, pulling me close to her. Sometimes people would misunderstand us as a couple but it's none of their business and sometimes I wish Kai is like this like really because I never actually had a simple date like this with him and I can only experience these ones with Lisa

"Mianhe~" Lisa whispers and kiss my forehead. I close my eyes and smile as I feel the warmth of her lips and the smell of her perfume. It's always my favorite and will always be~

"It's alright, maybe you're stressed out again huh?" I hug back and snuggle on her neck

"Thank you Nini"

"Yeah whatever Manoban. I love you" I close my eyes to feel more warmth from her body. I like this, it feels like home and safe

"Love you too Mandu" Lisa pinch my cheeks before chuckling
