CHAPTER 13

LISA POV

It's been a week now and I'm here at Incheon airport waiting for Jennie since I had an urgent matter in Japan because of the financial department and she insisted that she will be the one to fetch me. I quite miss Jennie a lot and I couldn't come to my friends lunch date last week so I need to make up with them. Don't worry me and Jennie are really ok now. I mean she got mad at me for getting drunk and about the man that was about to take advantage of me....he was Joy's boyfriend and they kinda pranked her? They told me the whole story and Jennie calling me her girlfriend really sounds good but I guess it was just a way to protect me.

"Lili!" I turn to where Jennie's voice came from and I was greeted by a tight but comfortable hug

"Hey~ did you miss me that much?" I giggle and hug back

"Of course! I wasn't used to being with Kai for the wedding preparations" Jennie stated that fades away my smile. Just 5 days more and my Nini will be getting married to that dog. I want to stop her but who am I to stop her from being happy?

"Hey Manoban!" I look at Kai who was standing and waving from his car. I look at Jennie confusedly

"He wants to come with us" She nervously smiles. I scoff and carry my luggage, we both approach the car. Kai was about to open the trunk for me when someone called him

"Annyeonghasey-WHAT?!" Me and Jennie flinch because of his voice

"OKAY! I'M ON MY WAY!" Kai hurriedly hungs up his phone

"Kai w-"

"Jennie baby, Lisa, can you both take a cab?"

"What?" I ask in disbelief "You shouldn't come here in the first place if you will just let us ride a cab!" I shout in anger

"I'm really sorry, it's an emergency" Kai looks at Jennie and kiss her forehead "Let's have dinner later ok  babe? I'll text you" I glare at Kai who just kiss Jennie's lips and drives away after he entered his car then leave

"That gentledog! That piggish pervert!" I hissed and I keep on cursing Kai in my mind

"Hey Lili calm down" Jennie rubs my shoulder

"Calm down?!" I shove her hand away "How can I calm down when that bastard left us here?! If I were him I would drop you off firsr at your destination. He is not a Man!" I hissed again and look around for a cab

"Lisayah~ I know you're stressed out. He's my problem not you-"

"He is also my problem Jennie! I can't let you marry that man if he's acting like this" I scoffs then call for a cab

"And you will stop me from marrying him?! Manoban! Set that feelings of yours aside for goodness sake!" Jennie yells and it hurt me so much like I just want to die already so I cannot feel the pain anymore

I face her and give her a glare "For your information Ms. Jennie Ruby Jane! My feelings are not involved here! I don't care if I am hurting myself because all I care about is your happiness!" I feel my tears running down but I quickly wipe them off

"Li-" I raise my hand for her to stop talking then open the taxi door for her. Jennie just went in and I shut it close before I enter the seat beside the driver

"Ahjussi, M. Corporation please"

"Keep the change and please bring her to her destination" I told the driver and glance at Jennie before I went out with my luggage

"Lisayah!" I heard Jennie calling for me but I just continue to walk inside the building, on the way to my office

"Lili~" I felt her grasping my arm but I shove it away before entering the elevator. It was only the 2 of us there and the ride was quiet and awkward

"Lili, I'm sorry~" I heard Jennie before elevator door opens "Lisayah~"

"Go now to your Kai!" I hissed "Forget about me Jennie please" I beg and walk towards my office

"No I will never do that Lisa!" I glance at her following me "You are my bestfriend Lisa! You think I would easily let you go?!"

"J-just this time J-jennie! Please!" I groan then sit on my office couch, surpressing my tears and sobs

"Lisa, yo-"

"Jennie! When I look at you! I see the one I love. The one I need. The one I thought that I'm meant to be with!" I shout and there my tears pours down my cheeks. I was shaking 

"A-and wh-when I-I love you, I realize I have never truly love anyone. I realize, I never truly love anyone th-the way I love you" And there I said it, wiping my tears away which I know it will never stop

"Th-that's why pl-please J-jennie. Give me some space because th-the pain is too much for me"

"Lili...I'm sorry" Jennie walk towards me but I step away

"It's not your fault! Or mine! Or Kai! Or anyone else!" I let out a deep sigh "It will always cause a heartache Jennie" I look up at her and shake my head "A cause of a heartache, in which you will drown until you find someone who loves you enough to save you from your own sea of tears"

"And now for me? Sunsets are defined as being heartbroken and sunrise as falling inlove. Both periods is full of beautiful moments, full of light but in the end it's full of darknest.....That's how I feel Jennie. Do you understand me?" I stare at her and she was also crying "But don't worry the sun rises everyday" I continue and look down on the floor

"Lili~" I felt Jennie footsteps "I need to tell yo-"

"Jennie pl-please just please! I'm begging you!" I sniff "Leave me alone this time. J-just th-this time. Don't worry I'll show up at your wedding" I smile painfully then plant a  kiss on her forehead

"Lis-" I didn't let her finish then I grab my sunglasses at my desk "I have a meeting, if you want stay here for a while you can but I'm reminding you of your date with Jongin" I said then leave my office without looking back

I'm hurting myself already and I just realized it now, when the pain was too much, that's hard to be taken away~

I love you Jennie but I need to let you go~
