CHAPTER 4

LISA POV

"Hey Mandu wake up now~" I tap Jennie's cheeks and remove the blanket

"Lisayah~ Why so early?"

"Early your face! It's 3 in the afternoon! Now get up we're going to this restaurant for the food tasting"

"I don't like" Jennie groans and pulls back the blanket up

"Hey? Is there a problem Nini?" I lay down beside her then cup her cheeks but all of the sudden tears starts falling down her face

"Nini! What happened?!" I quickly pull her in for a hug

"I hate it Lisa" She sobs. I rub her back and kiss her forehead "I hate for loving him too much that I am able to forgive him that quickly"

"What did he do this time?" I coldly ask but Jennie just shake her head "Tell me...I won't do anything to him"

"Ani! I know you Manoban" Jennie looks up and gives me a glare even she's still crying

"You won't tell me?" I raise my eyebrows and just with that Jennie quickly gets up but quickly grab her waist and pin her back on the bed then start tickling her

"MANOBAN! HAHAHAHAHAHA"

"LISAYA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

"You won't tell me huh?" I keep on tickling her until no voice is coming out of her mouth already which I stop immediately

"You still won-"

"I will now! I will!" Jennie says while catching her breath. I let her relax  and waited for her to talk

"Kai is going home this Saturday right?" Jennie looks at me which I just nod. Yes it's been 2 weeks now since Kai left for the business trip and since we started organizing their wedding

"But he called me last night saying that he was asked to extend his stay for 2 days" Jennie looks down "There's only 2 weeks left before the wedding but why he doesn't look excited Lili? Why he prioritizes the business trip more than me?"

"Shhhh I'm here Nini~" I put my arm around her shoulder and rub it "I'm here~"

It took a while until I was able to comfort and convince Jennie to get dress for the food tasting at the restaurant where that Jongin booked to supply the food for their wedding. I don't know what's with Jennie these days but it seemed that I really want to kill that Kim Jongin for making her feel unimportant. I love Jennie and I am willing to do anything just to see that beautiful smile on her face

JENNIE POV

"This is the best selling food in our restaurant" I watch the chef signing the waiters to serve the foods. They all placed different variants of foods from appetizer to dessert. Everything is going well the aren't that good to be honest and we're having our main course now

"This is the best steak in town Ms. Kim, Ms. Manoban" The chef stated. I smile at him before taking a small bite but as soon as I tasted it, I choked and so as Lisa that you can obviously see how bad it was

"Are both alright?"

I just grab some water and give a thumbs up but Lisa slams the table and stands "Are you sure this is the best seller? Because it tastes like hell" Lisa stated and sarcasm is pretty obvious in her voice

I hold her hand to calm her down "L-li-"

"I'm calling the organizer Jennie!" Lisa angrily stated "I will be asking for all the names of 5 star restaurants rather than this piece of-"

"Can you calm down Lisa?" I ask in a very low tone

"Calm down?! How can I calm down?!" Lisa groans "I know this is your wedding Jennie! If I am in Kai's place? I would call all the best designers from overseas! Book 5 star restaurants even if it costs a lot! And I will always accompany you for planning the wedding rather than going to my business trip!" I was shock of Lisa's sudden outbursts but what she said is true and it hurts me deep inside that my fiance isn't here with me to plan the most special day of our life. What can I say? The truth hurts~

"J-jennie" I feel Lisa's hand holding my hand. I was surpressing my tears and I hate crying in front of Lisa which is why I quickly get up and leave

"JENNIE!" I heard Lisa calling me for several time but I just ignore her and continue walking out of the restaurant
