"Lisayah!" I quickly jump in the lake and swim towards her
"Lili!" I sob and grab her arm
"YAH!" I flinch when water splashes as she moves and speaks "J-jennie?" She look at me in shock "Jennie?! Why are yo-"
"Fuck you!" I cry and hug her tight "I thought you drowned! I thought i lost you Manoban!"
"Dr-drowned? You know that I like to cool off while floating and....what are you doing here? It's like almost 12 midnight?"
"I was so worried you bitch!" I punch her chest "You didn't text me! You didn't answer my calls! Of course who wouldn't be worried?!" I wipe my tears harshly and punch her chest again
"Alright I'm sorry, I didn't text you because of course I'm not home yet and how can I answer your call when I left my phone there" Lisa points at the lakeside where her things are "Why were you looking for me? Can't sleep?"
I look at Lisa and look deeply into her eyes. She knows me so well so how can I not love her? Why did I choose Kai? What turned me into a blind eye that all I ever think off was Kai. Was it because he was my dream man back when I was a little girl?
"Hey~ You're thinking deep" Lisa holds my hand under the water and sigh "Anyways, let's go" Lisa drags me to the lakeside. I hug myself from the cold while I watch her wear back her clothes
"Here" Lisa squeezes my hair to let the water out and gives her hoodie "Remove your clothes and wear this" I just accepted it and remove my clothes which she again turn around
"Thank you but what about you?" I ask after I changed and scanning her clothes. She's wearing a white shirt and jeans
"I'm fine" Lisa grabs our things and leads the way back to our car
"Lili" I hold her arm and before she can answer I pull her close to me and give her a hug "I'm sorry like really"
"What are you sorry for?" She chuckles and cups my cheeks "Don't worry about me ok?" She taps my cheeks and leads me to my car
"Can I sleep with you tonight?" I pout that made her chuckle
"Arasso~ Let's use your car. I'll just call Dad's driver tomorrow to fetch my car here" Lisa stated. I just give her the keys and get in the passengers seat
"We're okay now right?" I glance at Lisa while I'm turning the heater on
"Who said we're not?!"
"Well aren't we-"
"Let's not talk about it ok Jennie?" Lisa sighs and focus back on the road again. We arrive at her condo after a while and we changed into more comfy clothes then have a little tea time
"So you were really worried huh?" Lisa chuckles and finishes her tea
"It's not the first time I've been worried about you Manoban" I roll my eyes
"Woah! Chill Mandu! I was just teasing you" Lisa laughs and so do I. I can't believe we quickly made up. I mean I don't know if she was going to ignore me but I'm happy that she's laughing again
"Now let's go to sleep, we have a lot of things to do for your wedding" Lisa stands and cleans up the table but I hold her arm and look up
"Can we cancel?"
"C-cancel?" Lisa looks at me confusely
"Cancel everything tomorrow, you know can we just stay here and binge watch?" I offer and give her a smile
"If that's what you want" Lisa smiles and puts the cups on the sink "Get ready for bed now Mandu I'll clean these up"
"Ok Manoban!" I smile and watch her before going inside her room. I quickly did my night routine and lay on her bed
"Looking comfy there Ms. Kim" I heard the door shut. I look up and watch Lisa lay beside me
"Your bed is comfy that's why" I giggle
"So what's more comfy? My bed or your fiance's?"
"Where did you get that question?" I laugh and slap her stomach "But to answer that? Yours is much comfy because I never slept on his bed!"
"That's surprising, you cancelled our sleepover back then for your 3rd anniversary because you said you're sleeping at his" Lisa faces me and I can see her trying to resist the frown on her face
"Yeah but I told him mom didn't allow me because when the moment I entered his condo?" I take a deep breath "I felt suffocated and unsafe plus it's a mess" I roll my eyes
"A mess? You feel unsafe?" Lisa frowns more
"Y-yeah...I found some viagra in his kitchen cabinets and some newly delivered T-TOYS?" I nervously bite my lips and I know Lisa is getting angry now
"Oh so he is not a dog but also a pig and a pervert huh?!" Lisa clenches her jaw in anger
"Hey~ calm down, it was way back" I put my hand on her cheeks and caress it
"Fine and just keep doing that" Lisa sighs and closes her eyes "This?" I ask and continue to caress her cheeks in which she just nod. I smile and continue caressing her cheeks until I can hear her cute snores
"Thank you so much Lili...For everything. You always make me feel worthy, love and important" I admire her face and kiss her prominent nose
"You deserve all the love Lili, I'm sorry~"
