THE FINAL CHAPTER

JENNIE POV

-2 YEARS LATER-

"I said get out right?!" I slam the papers on the table

"Miss Kim I-"

"GET OUT YOUR FIRED!" I shout and point at my door. My employee was already sobbing. I was about shout again when she quickly bows and leaves my office

"JENNIE WHAT WAS THAT?!" Mom yells as she enters

"Mom please not now~" I sit back down and massage my temple

"JENNIE KIM! LISTEN HERE YOUNG LADY! YOU'VE BEEN LIKE THIS SINCE LISA LEFT! I KNOW YOU'RE ANGRY BUT WHY TAKE IT OUT ON YOUR EMPLOYEES HUH?!"

"Mom please! I don't like to hear her name" I cover my face as I can feel my tears flowing out

"Lisa was in pain too dear, I know you love her, I mean do you still love her?" Mom leans on my table and rubs my shoulder

"I love her so much" I remove my hands and look at mom

"She said she's coming back right? We all know that she keeps her promises. All you need to do is wait..." Mom smiles and wipes my tears

"I know mom and it's unbelievable that my heart still chooses her after all these years"
I look at me and Lisa picture on my office table

"That's love baby~"

"Yeah...That's love. I may hate her for leaving me but the longer she's away from me the harder she is to forget and my live for her is getting stronger" I smile slightly and caress our picture

"Good to hear that sweetie because the long wait is over" Mom combs my hair

"The long wait is over?" I look at her and raise my eyebrows in confusion

"Yes! The long wait is over! Lalisa Manoban, your Lili is coming home tonight. Her mom called and said that Lisa's secretary told her about Lisa's arrival"

"She is?!" I quickly stand up then look at the time. 7:52 PM

"She's arriving by 9:20 tonight" Mom smiles "Now fix yourself Jendueki! You will be the one to fetch her" Mom giggles and pinch my cheeks

"D-does she know?" I ask in a low voice

"She doesn't! Now wait for her by the VIP exit gate. You can have her all night. We will have her party tomorrow" Mom teases and wiggle her eyebrows that made me whine but soon enough I made her leave. I quickly fix myself and book a reservation at our favorite restaurant

"No matter how much I hate you for leaving me Lili, I will still love you" I smile at her picture on my phone's wallpaper.

2 years is too much for me and I hope that waiting for her is worth it. I never got to call her because she change her number. Her social media's were deactivated too. I tried to look for her with the help of our friends but still no Lisa to be found which is why I decided to wait. Let fate decide for us if we're meant to be together

"Goodluck Jendueki!" Jisoo shouts on the other line

"Yah!" I put my phone away from my ears. It's 9 PM now. I decided to check the reservation I booked tonight and somehow made a little decor. I also check her condo and fix it. That's how excited I am to see her after 2 years~

"Don't get your hopes up ok Jen? What if she has a girlfriend now?" Jisoo said. My smile fades and I was thinking...What if Jisoo is right? 2 years is long and Lisa is a very attractive person, almost everyone's ideal woman

"Yah! Kim Jisoo! Just leave Jennie alone! It's almost 9:20!" I heard Chaeng shouting

"But babe-"

"KIM JISOO! YOU'RE SLEEPING ON THE COUCH!"

"WHAT BABE! NO!" I heard Jisoo shouting and later on ended the call. 9:18 PM~

"She's coming right?" I bite my lips in nervousness as I waited for her outside the VIP gate. The same spot where I was so clingy and where we kiss accidentally before she left for Japan

"Where are you Lisa?" I look around as a bunch of people comes out from the VIP gate. Greeting their love ones or the people who will fetch them. 9:20 PM~

Where is she? I keep staring at the VIP gate until I notice someone familiar. It's Lisa! But she changed a lot, from her grey hair, it's now black

"L-lisa!" I shout and there she is looking for the voice. I giggle at her cuteness

"Lili!" I shout and raise my hand. There she saw me, she might be shock but still manage to walk towards me. She actually became more attractive because of her black hair

"J-jennie?" Lisa was looking at me in shock. Maybe she still can't believe that I'm the one who will fetch her...

"You're too slow Manofoot! It's 9:23 now!" I pout and with that she chuckles and pulls me in for a hug

"Mandu! I miss you and by the way I'm sor-"

I quickly put my index finger on her lips to shut her up "Dinner? At our favorite restaurant?" I smile

"Dinner? Of course! But I'll drive this time" Lisa quickly grabs the car keys out of my hands and puts her luggage at my car trunk. She opens the door for me and let me enter first

"I guess this is going we-" I stare at Lisa outside, infront of my car. She was holding her chest "What is she doing? Is she putting on a show?" I giggle but I suddenly panic and quickly get out of my car when she fell on the ground

"Lis-OH MY GOD!" I quickly went beside her when I saw her chest continuously bleeding. Her hands, her clothes and mouth are now covered with blood

"Hey!" A man shout that made me look. It was Kai in a car with a gun, leaving quickly with an evil smile on his face

"L-Lisa!" I was already crying and the man her beside me offer to help us. We quickly carry Lisa to my car and he was the one driving

"Hey Lili! Stay with me! You're not going to leave me again! Arasso?!" I was cupping her face and pressing my office blazer on her chest to slow the bleeding

"I-I'm sorry" Lisa smiles at weakly. Her hands were shaking and full of blood but she still manages to caress my cheeks

"N-NO!" I shake my head "LALISA! I AM WARNING YOU" I sob. I felt her hands on my neck, pulling me close to her face. As our faces get closer and closer, she places her lips on mine and we were kissing slowly but passionate. It's like she's telling me her apology and also a goodbye....

"Justice...Nini" Lisa closes her eyes that made me panic "M-marry s-someone who l-loves you l-like I do~ T-tell y-you're ch-children abo-ut m-me.... I-I'm th-the maid o-f honor at m-my bestfriends wedding~" Lisa chuckles weakly

"Don't talk Manobal!" I hissed, I was waiting for her laugh again but I didn't hear anything "L-lisa?" I shake her

"Y-yah! MANOBAL! MONKEY! LILI! THIS IS NOT A GOOD JOKE! I'LL CUTE YOUR CUCUMBER IF YOU WON'T STOP THIS PRANK!" I shout endlessly infront of her face. It was pale and her lips were turning purple already

"LALISA!" I shake her again but she wasn't waking up. I slowly place my shaking hands on her hand and neck to check if she still has a pulse

"N-no! Ahjussi! Are we there?!"

"A little longer!"

"YAH LALISA!" I shake her again and again. I place my head on her chest to hear her heartbeat but still none

"LALISA!!!"
