CHAPTER 17

JENNIE POV

"Flight? Hong kong? Place to stay? Jae what's happening?" I frown and sit on my bed

"Oh? Miss Kim? You don't know? Oh maybe Ms. Manoban will inform you later but anyways she made me book a flight to Hong kong, I think she plan to stay there longer? Besides she was asking if she should attend the wedding of someone she really loves. Maybe she wants to move on?"

"WHAT?!" I stand up "I-I'm sorry Jae. Thank you for informing m-me I'll be the one to t-tell Lisa"

"Ok Ms. Kim thank you" I quickly end the call and I don't what happen but my body suddenly became weak that made me drop Lisa's phone and my eyes landed on me and Kai's picture

"Oh? You're already awake? You hungry?" Lisa enters with a smile

"Lili! Don't leave me please!" I quickly run and hug her tightly. I don't want to let her go, I can't lose her

"I'm not leaving Jennie, what are you talking about?" Lisa laughs and pats my back "Also, I'm sorry for giving Kai some bruises"

"Yah! Lalisa wae?! Even he made a mistake you shouldn't do that" I face her

"Mianhe Nini, I know you're wedding is just 3 days away. I'll buy concealers for him" Lisa pats my head and smiles. I look at her and began to tear up as I saw how painful her smile is

"Hey" I cup Lisa's face "I love you~" I said and my tears starts falling out

"Why are you crying again Mandu? I love you too and I know you love me too" Lisa chuckles and wipes my tears

"No Lis, I-"

"Nini, eat these first. You need to drink your medicine too" Lisa gets up and places the tray on the bed "I need to call Jae-hwan first ok? I missed a lot of meetings today" Lisa laughs and leaves me alone again in my room after she got her phone

"How?" I sigh and look at my food. For sure, Lisa wouldn't believe me. Maybe she thinks that I cancelled the wedding because I don't want her to be in pain anymore "Why now?" I hold my chest. This is hard but I want her, only her

"Jen, why haven't you eaten yet?" Lisa enters  then sits infront "The food is still hot, do you want me to feed you again Mandu?" Lisa chuckles then grabs the chopstick. She starts feeding me that made me smile. She's perfect~

"It's been a while since you fed me" I giggle

"Of course! Maybe this will be the last time too because Kai will be the one to do this~"

"Lis~" I look at her sadly

"Why? Why are you looking at me like that huh? Nini, I'll be fine ok? Your happiness is also mine" Lisa smiles weakly and continues feeding me. It took a while until I finally finish my food

"Where is Kai?" I ask then get up, walking towards my closet

"Oh? I don't know, all I know is that aunty asked him to leave" I heard Lisa. I quickly grab some jeans and hoodie, so as some sneakers then fix myself up and meet Lisa back at my bedroom

"You want to go out Nini? You're sic-"

"Let's meet Kai" I seriously stated before carrying the tray by myself and dragging Lisa downstairs

"Are you feeling well now? Do you want me to call hi-"

"No Lili, both of us will go meet him" I smile before clinging onto her left arm. Lisa didn't say anything and just guide me towards her car
