CHAPTER 9

LISA POV

"Yes, I'm so sorry" I bow in apology for one last time before closing the door infront of the medics. I sigh in relief when I told them that the patient is ok already, even though it was really me and they seem to buy it

"Now it's Nini's turn" I walk towards my bedroom door and knock "Nini? I'm sorry if I made you worry" I pout even though I know she won't see me "I just want you to stop that's why~ Please forgive Lili. Lili bough-"

KRING!

"Who's this now!" I scoff and grab my phone then answer it when I saw my secretary's name

"Jae-hwan? Is there a problem? It's -"

"Ms. Manoban! There is an emergency here! It's an emergency from the financial department"

"WHAT?!" I shout then end the call and quickly knock the door continuously until Jennie was annoyed that she open the door

"Mano-" I push Jennie aside gently and run to my closet then grab some pants and shoes. I quickly grab Jennie's car keys

"Stay here Jennie, I'll explain later and lock the doors!" I seriously utter and rush out of my condo

JENNIE POV

As soon as Lisa left. I obey what she told me and went to grab my phone. I just stare at it for a while until I decided to also go out to get my phone fix. I grab Lisa's hoodie and shorts and shoes from her closet

After I fix myself and the condo, I walk my way out then of course since the mall is just across from Lisa's building I went there on foot

I was glad that the ICenter wasn't that much far since I'm super lazy. My phone wasn't that damaged and it's good to hear that they just need to remove the water and dry it

"Thank you" I smile after I pay for the repair fee of my phone. That Manoban really scares me a lot these days. I was just strolling around until I decided that I will take out some food for dinner. I also texted Lisa that I went out then I saw some of Kai's messages from last saying that he wants to have a date with me at Hongdae the day he arrives. Of course I replied a yes and inform him that my phone is fixed

"Jennie!" I flinch and look at the person

"Irene?!" I smile and hug her "How are you?"

"Oh! I'm doing good! I just arrived from my business trip yesterday and I still have a jetlag" She giggles in response

"Oh?"

"Yes! I also heard that Chaeng and Jisoo will be coming home tomorrow!" Irene squeals

"That's great then! I'll inform Lisa and what about we set up a lunch date for us?" I smile

"That would be great Jenduek!" Irene giggle and hugs me "I'm sorry Jen but I'm really in a hurry" She pouts

"Oh no it's alright! I'm actually on my way back home too" I smile

"Home? Where do you live now?" Irene frowns and I know she's scanning my clothes. Yeah, I look like a person who is just walking around my house here

"Oh I'm sleeping over Lisa's condo today also I'm getting married!" I smile and show my ring

"Really?! Damn! Lisa and you makes a perfect couple" Irene smiles and that made me blush on her statement

"A-actually i-it's not Lisa" I giggle slightly and that made Irene's smile fade away

"Are you kidding me? Jennie this is not a good prank! I see the way Lisa looks at you and I see the way you look at her! Come on Kim!"

"It's not Lisa, like really" I smile slightly and I don't why I feel like I want to cry

"Then who is it?" Irene raise her eyebrows

"Kim Jongin, you can call him Kai" I smile slightly

"Is that so?" Irene ask and I just nod "You don't seem liking to mention his name"

I quickly look at her "What do you mean?"

"You look like you're not excited to talk about him. Is there a problem Jennie? Are you both arranged?"

"What?!" I snort and laugh "No! He's been my boyfriend for 5 years"

"5 years huh?" Irene smiles "I looking forward to meet him then but I'm telling you Jennie. The way you react on mentioning his name? Is a lot different from Lisa's" Irene taps my shoulder "See you Jen" She smiles one last time and walks away

What Irene said hit me so hard. Am I obviously falling for Lisa? Or have I fallen for Lisa but I hate to admit it back then?

"This is insane!" I shake my head and continue walking
