For this week to pray for someone you want to be saved or helped in a situation. This can also be for a country or area.
We as believers don't just pray for ourselves but for others. We don't just pray for the salvation of close loved ones but of those who are strangers, those who are from foreign countries and those who are in troubled times.
When we pray for others we have a heart filled with love and compassion. When we pray for others we show that we care for the well being of others. When we pray for others we represent Jesus on this earth who intercedes for us. We become a light in this world that is self-centred and selfish.
To pray for this person or country, you can do it after you have done your morning prayer or just before bed. It doesn't have to belong but be intentional and dedicate some time to pray for this person. Ask God to open their hearts and allow them to receive him. Ask God to protect them from any attack from the kingdom of darkness that's trying to stop them from fully embracing Christ.
Let's be women of prayer not just for ourselves and our lives (or even just our country and community) but who even go beyond by praying for those who we don't know well.
