Make it your prayer request

We've all had those moments when someone does something we don't like. Whether it be that they are short-tempered, closed-minded, or rude. We all have moments when when we just wish someone could change but yet we see little progress. I felt that when I got a teacher who would easily get irritated it was difficult for me to approach them because I felt intimidated. Maybe you feel that with your partners. Maybe you feel like they don't understand you or that they get short-tempered. Whatever it is that bothers you that someone does, instead of ranting or gossiping, why not pray for them?

If there's someone in your class who disturbs you, pray for them. I want to challenge you to take the faults, weaknesses, and issues you find in others as a way to pray for them instead. Gossiping and ranting won't change the person the way prayer does. It will also give you a better heart.

I challenge you for this week to write down a list of everyone that bothers you. Whether it be their decisions, attitude, etc that you don't like about them. I encourage you to make it your prayer request to pray for them today.
