White Noise

If that meme up there is you, then you're like me. I could spend 10 minutes looking for a song for a 5-minute task. I'm always looking for some kind of white noise to do things and it doesn't help at all that I can be very picky.

But the point of this challenge isn't to criticize your pickiness with white noise, in fact it's to encourage it.

Whether we choose to admit it or not, what we hear can shape us and as children of God, we want to be shaped as much as possible to be like Jesus, right? So naturally, it makes sense that what we listen to should be along that line of becoming more and more like our Lord and saviour.

Romans 10:17 says, 'So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.'

Which is why the challenge for today is to collate for yourself bible-based white noise that you listen to going about your day. I'm talking podcasts, music, youtube channels etc.

Listen to Christian podcasts. Here are some examples:

- The Bible Never Said That by Chara Donahue
- BibleProject
- Christian Girls P.O.P by Stephanie Bright
- God lives within us by Rebecca Aparicio
- Morning Mindset Daily Christian Devotional by Carey Green

Listen to Christian music. Here are some I've been listening to recently:

- Friend by Jonathan Ogden
- Fighting for me by Riley Clemmons
- Made for Jesus by John Mark Pantana feat. Olivia Dyer

- Enough by Naffymar feat. Se Ok, Asha Elia

(Check out the 'Music' book by FlourishMinistries and search up BLSSD Music on YouTube for some more recommendations.)

Listen to some YouTube videos. Here are some examples:

- Christine Liu
- Melody Joy Cloud
- Bible Bujo
- Tea Time with Jesus
- Christian Podcast 101
- BibleProject
- Yoni Charis (this channel has good lofi music)

There's a plethora of content that can serve as white noise as well as strengthen your faith and I encourage you all today to listen to these faith-based content while you go about your day.

God bless!
