For this week we are listing the weakness we have. All the charateritsc you know you have that you desire change in. List also the traits you want which is the opposite of those traits you have, with keeping reference with the word of God, what you don't want and what you want.

An example is if you deal with pride, you can take the verse that says how pride leads to destruction (Proverbs 16:18). Ask God to remove pride in you so you're aren't led to destruction. Also you have the verse that says God gives grace to the humble (James 4:6, 1 Peter 5:5). Ask for God's humility so you can continue to receive grace in your life.

If you struggle with fear, take the verse that says that God hasn't give us a spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7) , reject that spirit of fear. You then take scripture that speaks of faith such as how without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrew 11:6). You tell God that this spirit of fear is stopping you from pleasing Him and for Him to help you overcome that spirit of fear.

If you struggle with envy, tell God you don't want to envy because it roots the bones (Proverbs 14:30) and ask God to give you a heart at peace. You can also see that love does not envy (1 corinthians 13:4) and because you want to glorify God, you want a heart filled with love for others.

This is to encourage you to pray with scripture and use scripture to speak to God. God hears His word and He moves by His word, as we pray to be aligened with His word, we are glorifying Him and our way of praying increases.
