Mike Adams POV
My name is Mike Adams. I have brown hair and blue eyes. I am pretty popular because I am pretty athletic, I am on the football team so I can get girls to like me, although I suck in school, thanks to my ADHD and dyslexia.

Tonight I was heading home to my house after hanging out with the guys. They had been worried about me walking the streets by my self in the middle of the night, but I wasn't, I knew I could handle my self just fine.

I walked lost in my own thoughts. Until I was attacked by a thing I couldn't quite catch the form of. It changed between a big buff biker dude and a giant one-eyed monster. He slammed in to me and I flew ten meters ahead. I tried to get up quickly but he grabbed my foot and lifted me up in the air. He held me upside down and said in a exited voice "Food!" I closed my eyes and waited for death.

But it didn't come. I carefully opened my eyes as I dropped to the ground. I was thankful about my ADHD as it helped me catch my self, get up and scan my surroundings. The man/monster was now facing a beautiful girl about my age. Her blond, curly hair was put up in a messy ponytail, she was wearing grey couple of high socks, the right one was slid down a bit, a pair of jeans shorts and an oversized AHS High School Swimming Team hoodie.

She didn't seem scared, she just stood in front of the man/monster with a deathly calm gaze in her steel grey eyes and reaching for something hid in her left sock. A pencil? No, a knife? What?

I called out a warning to her. She shot me a glare and looked slightly annoyed before focusing on the man/monster once again. So did I.

It was definitely a monster. And it had a knife dug in to his shoulder. I looked back at the girl. She had been armed with two knifes and had managed to throw one of the, accurate enough to be about a decimeter or two from killing this huge intimidating guy from about thirty meters away while he was in motion, that was incredible!

I watched in awe as the girl skipped forward in an incredible speed. The monster had just managed to pull the knife out of his shoulder and threw it at her as he stared running towards her letting out a groan of anger.

She easily ducked under the knife and swiped out of the way of his gigantic hand while satiating on course. Then she slid her knife trough his knee as she darted past him. As he fell to the ground holding his knee she jumped up on his back and let the knife penetrate his throat and he turned into golden dust.

The girl turned towards me as she brushed the dust of her clothes. "Let me guess, you don't know at least one of your biological parents and you have dyslexia and/or ADHD?" She said in a sharp voice. I could nothing but nod. She sighted and turned around. "Follow me." She commanded as she stared walking the other way not even bothering to check if I followed. Which I did.

She got to a dark grey motorcycle and sat on it. She let her hair out and put on a helmet in the same color as the motorcycle. "Get on." She said.

I hesitated. I had driven motorcycles before, and I had done it with a girl holding her arms around my waist and I wasn't eager to do it the other way around. Not manly, you know? "I know how to drive I motorcycle, so..." I was shut up by her fierce death glare. "Get. On." She growled before bringing down the helmet visor. I reluctantly obliged.

As we drove she started explaining things to me, yelling over the sound of the motor. She had been using daggers, not knifes. The monster she had been fighting was a Cyclopes. Ancient Greek mythology is real. The gods of those myths are still around and do sometimes have children with mortals. Those children were called demigods. She's a demigod. I'm a demigod.
