Parental Problems

Takes Place: During Inkopolis Chaos 3, in between Part 13 and 14.

Main Characters: Luke, Summer.

Luke is just sitting on his apartment, desperately checking his phone for updates on Samuel and Natalie's status, who were rushed to the hospital after they defeated Lieutenant Obsidian, they had to be rescued from the explosion because the fight severely injured them, and if they weren't rescued, they would've been blown up. Everyone is dead worried about them. Luke was crying in fear a lot after the battle, and only recently did he stop. Suddenly, Luke gets a call from his mother.

Luke: Y-Yes?

Luke's Mom: LUKE! WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN DOING?

Luke: *thoughts: "Oh no, did they find out..."* What do you mean?

Luke's Mom: You haven't responded to my calls for ages! You've barley checked up on us, you haven't battled for a week and a half, and you were spotted fighting against criminals!

Luke: Look, this is classified information, please stop being nosy...

Luke's Mom: NOSY? I AM YOUR MOTHER! I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO KNOW WHATS GOING ON!

Luke: WELL ITS BEEN STRESSFUL, THE OCTOBUSTERS ATTACKED ME AND MY FRIENDS FOR HANGING AROUND OCTOLINGS, AND THEIR LEADER HAPPENS TO BE CYALUX, WHO I USED TO BE FRIENDS WITH UNTIL THEN, THEN ONCE THAT WAS OVER, STUFF HAPPENED THAT I CANT MENTION! EXCEPT THE FACT THAT MY BEST FRIEND AND HIS GIRLFRIEND BOTH GOT RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL, AND ITS CLASSIFIED INFO THAT I CANT LEGALLY TALK ABOUT!!! 

Luke's Mom: *speechless* Wait... A-Are you some sort of secret agent?

Luke: *his hearts drop* N-No, ok fine, yes, but do NOT tell dad, because telling yous already dangerous! I'm not supposed to tell you!

Luke's Mom: If I tell him, he won't tell anyone! I'm sure he won't!

Luke: OH MY COD! ITS CLASSIFIED! Come on, if he finds out, what if he gets angry? Nevermind he WILL get angry, because he isn't ever happy with me, and it might be another excuse for him to go on about how "UuH, aLl OcToLiNgS bE bAd CuZ iM sTuCk Up In ThE pAsT!" Plus I want to help people as well, and there's this really cool girl in the agency named Summer, and I don't want more innocents being murdered, like what's just been happening! It's extremely overwhelming how much is happening, I've been stressed to the core, one of our agents DIED! Sure the city is safe, but Samuel's getting treated in the hospital as we speak, because he got life threatening injuries! He's recovering but I'm still shook and nervous, and it's a lot to take in, and things might go wrong, and the last thing I want is our identities being spread! Now, can you please leave me alone? 

Luke's Mom: *hangs up*

Luke: *groans and throws his phone across the room* Don't they ever understand? Can't they just accept that they don't need to know everything that goes on in my life?

There's a knock on Luke's door.

Luke: *looks through the peephole and thinks: "It's Summer, I need to look my best for her!", then he puts his sunglasses and headphones back on, then he opens the door* Summer, hey!

Summer: Yoo! Can I come in, I kinda wanna talk to you.

Luke: Sure!

Summer: *walks in and shuts the door* I'm worried about you man. Ever since we got home, you didn't talk as much as you usually do, and since you left the hospital, you just... stayed in your apartment. I mean, looking around it seems really messy, has something happened?

Luke: I mean, these past two weeks... Have been really bloody stressful. Turns out that Cyalux, one of my oldest friends, turned into a psychopath who commands a racist orgsanisation. He's gone now, and my best friend Samuel, he's in the hospital! Sure he's recovering but I'm worried he might get trauma or something. He and his girlfriend fought against the dictator of the octarians HEAD ON.
