Bella: I tried! I always try, and you know it!
Lilith: You better hope that King Octavio wipes the floor with that squid, or were screwed.
Bella: I know... *looks down*
Lilith: Augh, I'm sick of all these useless forces! Why can't people try!
Bella: Hey, don't be harsh! We try our best!
Lilith: *slaps bella* THEN SHOW IT! Besides, the king will be fighting that disgusting squid soon, so let's watch. *grabs her and drags her to the final battle for the two to watch*
After the battle with Octavio, the inkantation blessed the souls of hundreds of octolings, Bella and Lilith were there, in the crowd...
Lilith: This... song... *feels some kind of influence leave her brain, like both a sense of relief, and a sense of being freed from propaganda and slight brainwashing*
Bella: *completely freed and starry eyed* Wow... Wow!!!
Lilith: *looks at her sister to her left and thinks: "I've been treating you terribly...", the first time in a while where she felt remorse*
Lilith remembers everything she has been doing. The inklings she coldly murdered, and how much she's been loyal to Octavio, who was brainwashing octolings. She remembers how harsh she was on all the octolings she commanded, especially towards her own sister... At that moment she just wanted to hug her, so she tried to...
Lilith: Sorry... *tries to hug Bella, but ends up hugging her chair, as Bella is long gone* Bella? BELLA?! SIS?
Bella: *heard, having no idea that Lilith is also feeling remorse* Sorry sis... But I can't live here anymore... *leaves for the surface*
Lilith: I need to help her, to apologise... I... I'm such a horrible person... *stands up and leaves*
Lt. Obsidian: *stands in Liliths way* Undersea, where are you going? Where's your sister?
Lilith: I'm looking for her...
Lt. Obsidian: If she's deserting, bring her to me. I'll happily deal with her... *sadistic smile*
Lilith: *lies to obsidians face* Alright. *walks away and thinks: "I'm not letting you torture Bella. She's had enough crap from me..."*
With Bella...
Bella: *packs her bags and leaves* I'm coming for you, new life... *joins a band of deserters*
Bella spends some time with the other few deserters, and one of her friends is there.
Adelyte: Sup Bella. Suppose you heard that tune.
Bella: Yeah. It's amazing. It made me realise how horrible this life is...
Adelyte: Hey, where's your sister?
Bella: I... I don't know. I assumed she'd get mad at me and y'know... Not let me go. I had to leave.
Adelyte: Are you sure? Shouldn't you of given her a little chance?
Bella: If she wants to come to the surface, she's more then welcome! Problem is she and I didn't get on... She's quite strict and tough, she's dedicated to being a Lieutenant. She actually hit me earlier... So I really don't know if she's going to come.
