"Scott's asked if we can go check up on Allison, she wasn't in school today," Isaac explained, as he checked his phone and I looked over at him confused.

"Why do we both need to do it?" I asked, and he looked up with a shrug.

"We don't, but I want it to be a we thing," he admitted, and I shrugged not really bothered. When you're plagued by the supernatural you begin to forget about the school. It no longer feels relevant. I mean realistically these days I could probably learn the same thing from the internet anyway, so it's not like it's going to do much harm if I miss it.

"Okay I'll come with, but can we stop of at the cafe first? I haven't had breakfast yet," Isaac thought about it for a second before he nodded.

"Sure."

Using the unusually thick straw, I stirred the whipped cream into the mint and white chocolate milkshake (I'm aware that's not the healthiest choice for breakfast but it was more appealing than orange juice and I did have a chocolate muffin instead of toast or something as well and so I may as well just go full unhealthy and enjoy myself this morning and regret it tomorrow).

Isaac was currently climbing up the wall to break into the Argent apartment and I planned on waiting until he was already up there before teleporting into the apartment. I suppose I could have just took the stairs and knocked on the front door but then that sounds a little...tiring. Maybe these powers had made me just a little bit lazy.

Taking a sip of the milkshake, my face contorted as I got an extra strong hint of mint. That wasn't very pleasant. Glancing up at the wall, I watched as Isaac fell through the window (he still wasn't very good at that) before I teleported into the room he was in. As I got there, I found Allison pointing a crossbow at the both of us. Well, it was mostly at Isaac.

"What do you both think you're doing?" Allison asked.

"You weren't at school-" Isaac began.

"Having my breakfast," I finished off, holding up my milkshake to show her.

She looked between us before she understood what had happened, "did Scott send you? Is he checking up on me?" She asked, and Isaac hesitated not knowing what he was supposed to say in this situation.

"Uh... Uh... Maybe he's worried about you?" Isaac offered, and I raised my brow looking at Isaac confused. So why couldn't Scott have come instead of us?

"I can take care of myself."

"Yeah, I've noticed... More than once," Isaac admitted.

"I just came because I don't like school," I added on to ease the tensions slightly, "and because I was hungry."

Allison seemed to hesitate as she looked between us both and I was going to pry but the milkshake seemed far more fascinating. It was a very pretty colour as well, a mint green colour. I was going to take a picture for social media but I was already being dragged to here. After a few seconds of awkward silence, she spoke up.

"I actually have something to show you both," that didn't sound very promising and so both me and Isaac shared a glance not trusting the matter.

"Go on then."

"Okay, okay, hold on a second-- your dad's the killer?" Isaac asked Allison. She'd told us all about her suspicions and it was now making me think we shouldn't have taken the risk and come here at all.
