10th December 2010

It had been three days since the hospital incident and dread seemed to fill me. There was something happening; there had to be something happening because it couldn't just be paranoia. I wouldn't let it be something so simple when in Othello's own words it felt like "chaos is come again."

As of this moment, I was stood on the escalator in Beacon Hills shopping Mall behind Lydia and Allison staring off at a blurred wall. It wasn't actually blurred but my eyes had lost focus a long time ago.

"Nothing's wrong... I just, I have a lot on my mind," Allison assured us, I knew how that felt. Everything was racing around and I still felt tired and weak from whatever had happened at the hospital.

"You could smile, at least. Ever heard of the saying, "Never frown-- someone could be falling in love with your smile?"" Allison quoted, and I snapped back into attention to look at her oddly. I've never heard of that saying in my life, "Smile, Allison. I'm buying you a dress," well that was a reason for Allison to smile.

"Have to admit, as far as apologies go, that's more than I expected..."

"Excellent!"

We got to the top of the escalator and Allison grew a smirk as if she was planning something else, "but not as much as I'm going to ask."

"What? What's that supposed to mean?" I agree, it was quite greedy of her to want more than that.

"It means you're going to cancel on whatever dumb, 'roided-up jock you said yes to and you're going to go with somebody else," well that was a little harsh on the jock.

"Who?"

"Him," both me and Lydia followed Allison's gaze to see Stiles stood at a stall that had a collection of perfumes there. "Don't frown, Lydia! Someone could be falling in love with your smile."

Humming, I leant in, "personally I think you should just ho with me as a friend but... he's better than the jock...I hope," I pointed out to her before we headed into the dress section of Macy's. We all seemed to split up as we went to what our eyes were caught by the most.

Flicking through a few of them Stiles' voice rang out forcing me to look over at him, "Oh, okay, so are you just gonna try these on right now? All of them?" He was carrying a rather large pile of dresses which was tall enough that he could not see over him and I understood his next concern, "Is this a twenty-four-hour Macy's?"

The corner of my lips quirked up out of amusement before I turned back to the dresses in front of me. There were a few that were nice but none of them screamed something that'd I'd actually want to wear. Pulling out two dresses I glanced between them; they were both very similar. They looked like satin and they had the tight-fitted bodice and the skirt was fairly tight but it didn't cling to you. There were slits in the corners and the straps were thin and basic. The necklines were also square. The differences were one was silver and one was mint green and the silver one had what looked to be leaves and ferns printed into it.

"Attention shoppers... To the owner of a blue Mazda, license plate 5768. Your car is being towed."

Wasn't that the car we'd arrived in?

Frowning, I looked away from the dresses and looked over to Allison who was fleeing the scene. So it was her car, that's slightly concerning.

"If you're not Camille then you must be-" my shoulder's tensed at the sound of the name. One I used to love the sound of and now it only seemed to bring fear. Hesitantly, I turned to look behind me to see the alpha and I lowered the dresses trying to plan my escape. He'd cornered me in the dress aisle which wasn't a smart move on my part. "Florence. Earth, Air, Fire or Water?" He asked but his words made no sense.
