Yawning, I glanced over at Lydia as she pulled out the right books from her locker. I'd been told that Cora had been the one locked in the bank with Boyd (Cora was Derek Hale's sister who I'd thought died in the fire and apparently so did he but she had not). Nothing had happened since then but our thoughts were on the mysterious alpha pack.

"I personally think we should go shopping soon, I love your new look but if I see you in the same outfit again I'm gonna scream," Lydia admitted and I frowned at her before looking down at my outfit. I felt rather pretty and cute, actually. Like someone who should be in the middle of a meadow taking pictures with flowers and carrying a peasant basket.

I'd gone for the white dress with pink micro flowers on it, the mauve cardigan with flowers embroidered on it, my white trainers, and my usual necklace and set of little rings. I was using a black thin headband to keep my hair out of my face and had done very limited makeup.

"Florence," a voice hissed, and I glanced up as Isaac walked over to us along with Stiles and Scott, I immediately knew it was him where I didn't even need to see him to know he was there. He wouldn't even have to say anything. It was like I could feel it in my bones when he was around. They had all just finished with cross country (Isaac had tried to get me to sign up but I do not run) and none of them seemed happy about what was happening. "Ready to go?"

It was Chemistry first.

"Yeah, sure. See you at lunch," I said to Lydia before following Isaac.

"You need to be careful," he warned, and I glanced up at him confused. He seemed more on edge than usual. Like something terrible had happened and yet I couldn't tell you what it was. I wanted to know what it was more than anything, in fact, I wish I could tell you what it was without even having him tell me. "The twins. They're a part of the alpha pack, they were the ones who attacked me and that girl and they've killed another one."

Frowning, I stopped walking and grabbed onto the edge of his sleeve to prevent him from going any further himself, "what are you talking about?"

"Them," he spat. Turning my head, I looked over at the other side of the hall to see the twins that Lydia had said she wanted to get with. The very same twins. So the twins were both alphas and they'd decided to come to a public school. What an odd thing to do?

Upon feeling our gazes, the twins both turned to look at us and one of them (the straight one as Lydia had commented) gave the most sickening twisted smirk. It reminded me of Erica in a way, except somehow she pulled it off better. There was something familiar in their eyes. Like they knew me but I certainly didn't know them.

Rolling my eyes, I turned back to look at Isaac who had a dark look in his eyes and looked ready to pounce. Taking in a breath, I reached out and looped my fingers through his own. "Ignore them," I urged, "they're alphas who have to follow along with other alphas....they're not that powerful," I reminded, knowing they could hear me but I didn't particularly care, "now come on... Mr Harris has already given me ten detentions this year I don't want another one," I added on and he sighed before allowing me to drag him to the class.

"You know at some point you're going to have to start doing the Chemistry sheets on your own," he pointed out.

"Oh I'm sorry, how did you get that A in French again?" I countered, and I knew he'd have that lazy smirk on his face without even looking at him, "I mean have you actually done any French homework since you met me?"

"And have you done any Chemistry?" Stopping again, I looked back at him with my eyes narrowed.

"No, that's the point. We switch...oh do you want to go on a date tonight? There's a really nice cafe and they have the best milkshakes," I added on.
