~Jinx~
I literally had to hold Jae back so she wouldn't tackle George. It would've been a wreck if she did. The owl would be trying to get away. Johnny would be toppling over with Mya and SnowBall in his hands. The crowd would be going after them for help. We didn't want that at all. Well, Jae probably did, but I didn't want it.
Johnny was completely distracted by Jae's scream. His eyes widened with wonder and excitement as he watched Mya and I. The owl didn't know what the hell was going on, and the crowd around him just thought it was another HU fan screaming out. That was somewhat true, but we were also old friends.
"Mya?!" George shouted back, his jaw dropping and slightly forming into a smile.
It has been 8 years since the last time we've seen them. It was because we got mixed up in several things, and they got too busy with their new albums and such. Jae and I, well, that happened to us as well. We got so busy with our collage work and our band that we couldn't really hang out anymore.
After people took multiple pictures of Johnny, he finally gave the bird back to it's rightful owner and took the white glove off as fast as he could. George stumbled through the crowd lightly, then finally made it to us, pulling us into one of his huge bear hugs. He was seriously like a big brother to us, and would always be.
"I missed you two." George squeezes us, and I heard Jae cough exaggeratedly. I rolled my eyes at it.
"I missed all of you guys." Mya says, muffled by his chest.
He soon lets go, looking down at both of us. We knew exactly what he was about to say.
"You've changed."
"Well, you have too." I say.
"You have a daughter now."
"Oh my gosh, so does Danny!" Jae exclaimed as we both exchanged glances.
They both continued to talk, and I blocked out the whole world slightly. I stared at my acid green vans, while thinking about where the others were. I was pumped to see them. Once I peered up, the crowd slightly made a path for someone. FunnyMan. He had two phones in his hands, one must've been Johnny's while the other one belonged to him. As soon as he reached us, he shoved the white iPhone in George's face, while George stared straight ahead. Soon he snatched it out of his hands, and began looking through the pictures.
"Is that--?" Dylan cocked his head slightly, then a grin formed across his face, "Oh my god! Toxic Decent, AKA the f*cking badasses! Holy sh*t, I've missed y'all!" Dylan hugged us one at a time, and when it came to be my turn he pressed my face against my coat, letting me inhale a strong sent of weed. Typical FunnyMan.
"They're waiting on us in that small tent arcade thingy." Johnny waved his hand around, sliding his phone in his pocket.
We couldn't find any arcade tent in eyesight, so it must've been a few minutes away. They made us come, which we both were totally fine with. Both of them took us and held us while they made their way through a small crowd that surrounded us slightly from SnowBall the Owl.
Afterward they let go, and we made our way through the festival. Everyone looked so happy to be there, including people who worked for boring activities like whack-o-mole. The sun was shining, and it was rather humid outside. This was our first time being in Australia. Jae and I weren't even used to the time change, nor were we used to the hot weather. On the other hand, George and Dylan made it look like it was a piece of cake.
We finally got to a tent that had a banner reading, "Arcade tent". Dylan pulled us in, where there were over bazillion of arcade games. Johnny scanned the place to find the 4 familiar faces. I'm guessing he succeeded because he started making his way to the other side of the tent. We all followed. We turned a corner, and sure enough; there they were. Playing Pinball machines. Da Kurlzz sat behind Charlie as he played his game, finishing a banana up and trying to place it on the ground so that Jordon could slip on it. Sadly, the plan didn't work, and Charlie caught him before he plopped the peel on the ground.
"I know what you're thinking, gay-wad." Charles snapped, smiling afterward. He didn't even notice us standing there.
Jae had her hands behind her back, looking innocently at Matthew. She had a crush on him ever since, well, ever. I saw her cheeks get a bit pink as she watched Matthew's every move. Then I saw someone behind him stand up.
I was blushing alright. I covered my cheeks, trying to hide it. He walked over with a grin on his face. God, it made me hate every bit of him; but love him at the same time. His eyebrows were still perfect than ever, and his chocolate brown eyes were still amazing.
"Shelby!" He exclaimed, pulling me into a tight hug.
"Jorel!" I lights giggled, enjoying the embrace.
J-Dog was amazing. He was totally hot, and just made me feel warm and fuzzy inside every time I was around him. It was a nice feeling, one that I never wanted to loose. But I did for 8 years. 8 years. Hopefully another loss of it would never come again.
After pulling away, I saw damn Jae rocking back and forth on her feet as Matthew for up. His blush was easy to see. His cheeks were already a tomato red as he made his way towards Mya. It was the nicest thing to see.
After giving everyone warming hugs and telling them how different they were from last time, it was time to explore the fest more.
