ONE YEAR LATER (After the Events of Don't Leave Me)

Hongjoong sat outside on a tree branch as he watched the sun go down. Even after a year he was still paranoid that someone would just attack him and his family but no one ever did and he was happy about that.

"Joong! Come back inside! You've been out there for hours"! Hwanwoong called from the door. Hongjoong sighed and jumped down, making his way into the house. 

"Sorry. I guess I just can't forget about what's happened over the years", he said.

"That's normal. But we're safe. Don't worry". Hongjoong smiled before he was hugged from behind, making him jump.

"Holy"!

"Calm down Joong. It's just me", he heard Seonghwa say and he calmed down.

"You scared me Hwa".

"Sorry". Hongjoong turned in his arms and kissed him before Yeosang came downstairs.

"Last year of school for you guys"! He called. Hongjoong smiled. He had waited all his high school years to graduate from school finally. 

"Your not hiding your eyes Joong"? Hwanwoong asked and Hongjoong shook his head.

"Don't need to. I can just come up with a lie and people will believe it". Seonghwa smiled as Hwanwoong chuckled.

"True". Hongjoong didn't go to school last year, worried would happen if he did. He didn't want to run into trouble again so he thought it would be best to stay home. But it was his last year so he had to go to school and graduate.

"Tomorrow is school. Be careful".

"We will, 'mum'", Hongjoong said, gigging. Yeosang looked at Hongjoong before rolling his eyes and walking off. 

"He's grumpy", Hwanwoong spoke as they entered the lounge room.

"He's just older than us. He cares that's all". The two looked at Seonghwa.

"True". The three sat together, talking and Hongjoong's mind kept wandering to the past years he spent as a vampire with Seonghwa and his family.
