They arrived at the house and Hongjoong allowed Rose to enter first before following in after her. 

"Guys"! Hongjoong called as they entered the lounge room. The others came downstairs and Wooyoung smiled when he saw Hongjoong and Rose.

"Who's this"? Jongho asked, walking over.

"This is my sister Rose".

"Your sister"? Hongjoong nodded. 

"Nice to meet you", Yeosang said, smiling. Rose smiled before she looked at Wooyoung and San and felt something, like a fuzzy feeling inside her but she ignored it. 

"I ran into her a week or two ago and only just found out she's my sister. Thanks to Woo". Wooyoung smiled. Yeosang walked closer, observing Rose. 

"You seem... different. Kinda like... us", he said

"Sang, don't say anything", Seonghwa warned, causing Hongjoong to look at him confused.

"What? What's going on? You know something I don't do you"? Hongjoong asked sternly. Seonghwa looked down.

"I-I can't say", he whispered. 

"I want to know. I don't want to be left in the dark"! 

"I can't say"! Hongjoong frowned and turned around, heading towards the front door. 

"Joong"-Seonghwa started, walking towards him. But he took 4 steps before his body froze in place.

"Joong, let me go now", Seonghwa spoke. Hongjoong turned to him.

"Then tell me what your hiding", Hongjoong growled. He hated being left in the dark. He hated it when people left him out of something. Seonghwa turned to Rose. 

"What about Rose"? 

"Let me go first". Hongjoong sighed and soon, Seonghwa had control over his body again.

"Thank you. Don't ever do that to me again".

"Would you prefer me to use my other ability on you? The more painful one"?

"What is with you? You've changed".

"Because your hiding shit from me! We never had hidden anything from one another"! Hongjoong shouted. Seonghwa snapped his mouth shut as Hongjoong shouted. Hongjoong had changed. He never raised his voice at Seonghwa before.

"What I know isn't for me to say".

"How come"? Seonghwa looked at Rose again.

"You may as well tell him. Or he'll kill me", Seonghwa said Rose chuckled and stood up. She walked over to Hongjoong and grabbed his hand and led him outside.

"Joong you need to calm down".

"How can I calm down? Hwa never hides things from me", Hongjoong whispered, looking down.

"He only didn't say anything because I didn't want him to", Rose said. Hongjoong looked up at her, confused as she let his hand go. 

"What's going on Rose"? Hongjoong asked. He was confused and worried about what was going on. Rose sighed.

"I thought you'd be safe when you moved here so I kept away. But... You might as well know. Your in this life now so I can't hide it from you", she said.

"Rose, what? What are you hiding from me"? Rose turned to him. She removed a set of contacts in her eyes.

"Rose talk to me". She didn't answer as she looked at him and smiled softly before disappearing from in front of him.

"W-wait... Where are you"? Hongjoong looked around before seeing Rose behind him.

"Y-your like me"? Rose nodded. 

"I never wanted to say anything cause I was worried. When you moved here, I wanted to talk to you. I recognized you straight away but I had only been turned so I kept away in case I hurt you".

"You knew I was your brother when I moved here? And you had only been turned"? 

"Yeah. I'm sorry I didn't talk to you at all for the years you were here. I didn't know what I'd do to you".

"You hid from me since I moved here and didn't try to just communicate with me once"!?

"I was scared"!

"Still! I spent my whole life getting beaten by our parents and you weren't there to help me. I had no one to turn to, no one to calm me down. N-no one to p-protect me from them"... Hongjoong soon broke down. Rose rushed forward and pulled Hongjoong into her arms before he fell to the ground. 

"I'm sorry. I really am. I thought you were killed so I never went back. Cause I knew I'd be beaten by them".

"I-I had it hard as a kid", Hongjoong whispered, looking up at his sister.

"How so? Beside our parents".

"I was always bullied at school. People believe I kept trying to kill myself because of all the bruises and cuts I had on my skin. And at times, I honestly wished I had just... e-ended my life"...

"Hey. Don't say that. If you ended your life when you were you younger, I wouldn't have had an amazing younger brother with me today".

"And I wouldn't have fallen for an amazing human being", Hongjoong heard. He turned to see Seonghwa walked over to them. He ran over to him and hugged him.

"Woah, easy there. It's ok Joong". Hongjoong sniffled and looked up at him. 

"Thanks for caring for him while I wasn't around", Rose said. 

"Your very welcome. If I hadn't met him, who knows what would've happened to him". Rose smiled.

"I think mum and dad would have taken him back home if you didn't meet him".

"I'm never going back to them. Ever". Rose smiled and nodded. Hongjoong stayed hugging Seonghwa. He liked the life he had chosen and didn't want to see his parents again, scared about what his parents would do to him if they found him again.
