3rd POV

Location: Doodle Sphere

Roaming around the Doodle Sphere at a slow pace, thinking about the recent events such as him and Fresh short discussion or what Nightmare wanted from him, he bumps his foot into some stuff and collapses on the grassy ground funnily, tangling himself with the materials on the ground. Ink is a thoughtful skeleton, not like the former guardian of AUs who could at any moment bring his attention back and have his feet on the ground, he was more hopeless about himself and tends to neglect his health, and take care of the others more.

He has trouble staying attentive with any kind of situation and used to get scolded about it. Oh, he suddenly remembered that he was always scolded in his past life, it was weird to abruptly remember that after he was sure that he wouldn't have any memory left after a few days.

Guess that there are some exceptions.

After diverting from reality once again, Ink rolls on the ground and sit up, untangling his legs and waist from the soft fabric. He flinches when he felt himself sitting on a sharp tool and immediately move away from it, rubbing his butt in discomfort. He grabs the tool that appeared to be a broken pen and throws it far away in anger, going back to his little problem with his feet, he remarks that the soft fabric was a scarf, a brown scarf with writing on it.

It was the previous guardian's scarf also known as the old Ink's.

He hurriedly pulls it to read it, forgetting that he was tangled into the long fabric and accidentally falls back down to the back, intershocking with other tools and other fabrics, tightening the scarf around his legs more. He didn't care for it as he tries to puzzle out what was written. One thing that Ink has in common with the former guardian is that they both have very bad handwriting, yet, Ink also has dyslexia and that's a perfect combo if I may tell.

It was hard to read the mess written on the scarf but he manages to collect some information. He learned that the old him had many weird ideas planned, such as the X-event, which made him internally sob with relief that he didn't have the soul of X-Gaster and at the same time cringe because he didn't have the soul of X-Gaster.

He'll look through it later, for now, it's best to focus on what was written on the scarf.

[...]

Dream has to admit that Ink's cooking was delicious, he still feels the aroma of the grilled vegetable salad and the delightful meatballs that he has eaten for lunch and he even misses it but that doesn't excuse him at all. Dream might have let the affair between him and Ink go but he won't give up until he finds out the truth.

And this is why, on this new day, he had to make a meeting about him and other things, of course.

Location: Star's organization

The Star's organization is a well-placed council, located in an abandoned and secret deserted universe. No need to say that it was safe for undead Sanses and a positive universe, after all, it's Core!Frisk who help them found this place.

Dream glances around the room, noticing that everyone was present except for a few skeletons. It didn't matter, he wanted to make the affair a secret for as long as possible. The Sanses council started to have suspicions about the guardian of AUs and so are the members of the Star's organization. Well, they were right, but nobody knows anything about him, all except Dream.

"It's the third reunion that he has been missing this week, he has never been absent in any!" blurted Color in agitation, taping his fist into the table. His multicolored flames heated his area, making the other beside him shift in discomfort. Death, like every meeting where he gets to discuss with Geno and Color, started to frown at them.

"Bruh... Ya think he's ded?!" Epic, who appeared to be one of the new recruits, spoke generally, assembling the attention of everyone in the room.

"No, he was there this morning, and he even brought me back to Underswap" he sighed, already feeling tired. Swap borrowed a cookie from Epic, who, for once, accepted without any complaints.

"What is it with all the ruckuses with Ink?" asked Geno, trying to avoid any eye contact with Death. Since he lives on the save screen with no way of having any communication with the multiverse except for the meetings and Ink's visits, he doesn't know anything about the situation. And he would have preferred to not come at this meeting because of Death, it has been hard to escape him every time that he tried to reap his fragment of soul, just like Color.

Death's eye lights were dimmer than usual, frowning at the undead skeletons that keep refusing to die, he keeps getting scolded by his Papyrus and by his Gaster because of the tenacity of these souls.

"Ink..., Dream began, hesitating about his choice of words, ... Ink won't participate in our meeting until I said so." he finished. All were surprised and confuse about what was happening, including Swap too. Some Sans started to murmur their worries to each other while Swap grabbed Dream's arm, asking for more information. He gets the message and sighed, he needed to find an excuse for everyone in this room.

"No, we didn't fight, no he's not getting kicked out of the Star Sans, he's just in no capacity to join our meetings for now." Dream's voice was calm and gentle, quieting everyone in the room.

"Do we get to know why he won't come at least? Because, if you demanded us here just to say that, it was a real waste of time" spoke Death bored, his voice was smooth and bewitching, also having an echo effect as if it was a dream. His attention was no longer on the two undead skeletons but Epic.

"By the way, shouldn't you be dead?" the others shudder at the sudden change of temperature, mostly Epic who was trying to swallow his fear away. He may be the meme's lord but it's Death that we're talking about– since when was he scared of death?

"For Ink's problem, I recommend you to go check by yourself, Dream said grabbing some urgent files of the Sanses council and reading it. Put aside Ink's health, we have an immortal glitch that is roaming around the multiverse, he is a powerful and dangerous Sans aiming to get back his Papyrus, even at the cost of other Alternate Universes. We know what are his intentions, but we don't know how to stop him yet."

The once calm and peaceful mood that was occupying the room soon transformed into dread, the other Sanses, leaning their head down, looking at the ground in fear. Swap ignored Dream's last remark, already having been attacked by Fatal Error, he prefers focusing on the other urgent files than remembering what has happened before.

"We also have another case, it seems that minor anomalies have been found in some deserted AUs, I'll contact Error to help me get rid of them." it was now Geno's turn to grab a file, which seems particularly longer than the others.

"It says that one of our spies has been captured by unknown Sanses while patrolling through unknown territories, Geno grabs a pair of red glasses from his pockets, noticing a certain paragraph that's triggering some of his senses, and reads without hiding a frown. The spy in question is... CHASER?! What the- he's a kid?! Why is he one of our spy?!" Geno's voice started to grow in volume making everyone flinch. The skeleton was usually calm and shy, no one excepted him to shout his anger so loud.

Swap grabs the paper in tension and reads it carefully, not believing any of these statements. But what Geno read was pure truth, Chaser was really one of their spies, without any of them knowing, they end up having a kid of 16 taken as a hostage with unknown Sanses because of one of the Star Sans recklessness.

I bet that you all know who let Chaser be a spy, don't you?

And should I write some Afterdeath but more realistic in my own way in this story?
