Location: laundry room
3rd POV:
A long silence reign through the two as Ink was trying to find an answer to Dream's question. And after a long moment, Ink sits on the washing machine and stare at his hands.
"I-I...Well..."
"No, he said, suddenly moving toward him, placing his two hands on his cheeks and squeezing them, Stop the stuttering and speak."
The intense look on Dream's eyes socket and his calming touch only made the smaller melt in comfort, his aura affecting his mind as he was tempted to tell everything from the start of the first week but when his mouth opened, the words disappears.
He grabs Dream's hands gently and puts them away from his cheeks, feeling upset, his eyes light turned into two white dots as he was now trying to get away from Dream.
He reached the handle of the door but has forgotten that Dream had the key to the laundry room and the kitchen. Ink had no way to get away from this situation, doesn't he? Did Dream install an anti-magic barrier so he couldn't escape? But the children are all alone... Eating chocolate...
"Why can't you tell me?" his voice became softer and lower, making Ink pant a bit louder, his body no longer resisting the intense positive aura that Dream was emitting.
His fingers trailing around Ink's, his chin on his shoulder, waiting patiently for a reply. But the smaller stayed silent and decide to ignore and resist Dream's intrusive aura.
The Guardian sighed defeated as he weakened his aura, all of his tentative failed, and proceed to unlock the door with the key. He watches how Ink rushed to the kitchen, searching for the children who were hiding. He rests his back on the wall, crossing his arms, staring at the smaller.
Maybe he shouldn't have been so intrusive? Maybe Ink had nothing worrying to hide, put aside the fact that he has only two weeks of memories, isn't it a good thing that he had changed for the better? He doesn't look bizarre anymore, he seems... Like a normal person for once, as Swap said before, Ink is acting more normal than before, it's at the same time good to hear and at the same time frustrating.
He has so many questions that were not answered but for now, he'll have to observe him a bit more, just to study and survey him. And also to prevent Nightmare from going too close to him, he felt his aura around Ink every time that he leaves the universe, he wondered if Ink realized that he was stalked.
Swap busted the kitchen door wide open, holding a giant battering ram and quickly thrashing it away after entering the room, Ink looks at him without flinching, frying meats and boiling vegetables on the stoves. The smokes around the entry spread around the tables where the children were waiting for food, and at the laundry room, which had the door opened. He looks at the four in pure panic and immediately relaxes when he sees no one injured. He clears his throat and walked toward Ink, making sure that everything was fine.
He froze as he sees Ink watching him with his two white dots, he felt his bone running numb and his breathing hitching. Remembering the time when Swap has for the first time met him in this condition, Ink hurt him mentally and physically so badly that he locks himself in his AU for one mouth, not giving any news or sign of life to anyone, not even his brother. In the end, he ends up forgiving Ink after he found out that he was soulless.
Ink blinks at Swap, wondering what was wrong with him until he remembered that he was in the body of the same Ink that could have done something to him. Maybe the old him hurt him?
