(by the way, serious chapter part...Is SCP in abridged :D)

3rd POV:

Location: stuck on a giant tree, because yes.

Ink sighed, suddenly feeling like laughing at the situation. He looks at Stain who was struggling to climb higher on the tree to get PJ and Palette down. The two children were having a paintball fight and were strangely athletic and strong for their age.

Broomie in his hands, Ink climb into it in a crouching position and starts floating toward Stain.

"Need help?" Stain recognized that playful tone of voice and immediately turned his head in alarm, forgetting that he was in bad stability where he was climbing. His foot slipped on his left, having taken support on a slimy caterpillar and his body started falling, Stain couldn't see this and shut his eyes close.

Before he could hurt himself, Ink catches him with incredible speed and squeeze him close into a cradle grip. Stain was pat on the back repetitively, making the teenager cringe in embarrassment.

"OKAY OKAY, THANKS MOM STOP THAT!!" Ink laugh at his embarrassed son and proceed to place him on a safe branch, where he was sure that he wouldn't trip and fall.

Next was Palette and PaperJam, the two were super high compared to Ink and Stain, the tree where they were stuck at was more than 1000meters tall and it was huge. The floating skeleton calls out for the kids, to which they respond with enthusiastic laughs and fire some paint at their mother who effortlessly dodges them all.

"If you two don't get down in the next two minutes, you won't have any chocolate for dessert." PJ's eyes socket widens as he carelessly jumps off branches to branches to reach Stain's spot of the tree. Palette was another story.

"Are you stuck Lil Pal?" he asked with a very gentle tone, trying not to upset the sad child. He was gripping on two branches, trying to reach for one as PJ did before but didn't have the courage and the best posture to move. The guardian sighed and grabbed the child in his arms, he didn't want to see him start sobbing.

Meanwhile, while Ink was moving Palette toward the two others to start picnicking together like a real family, Cross and Horror stare from afar, admiring the delicious-looking chocolate cake with Dust looking at them with a hopeless expression.

It wasn't a hazard that they were here, Nightmare, Killer, and Error were also present but unlike the three, they were closer and well hidden. Dream's suspicions about Nightmare stalking Ink were truth and not only that he should have told Ink about it but he should also have kept an eye on him, not letting him alone with the children.

Nightmare eyed the teenager with a frown, the younger who was drawing on a tree, further away from the three others but still visible in their sight. He looks a lot like Ink but he could recognize some of his traits, if it wasn't for his one blue eye light on his left eye, his crescent-shaped stain on his skull, or his negative aura, he would have totally been lost.

Error was glaring at Paperjam with envy and jealousy, seeing how he was eating the chocolate without his authorization was a blasphemy. If it wasn't for Nightmare's orders, he would have rushed and interrupted their perfect family moment and snatched that damn chocolate away from them. Chocolate is a divinity that they don't deserve, unlike him.
