The next day at work I was more anxious than anything to see Harry. He hadn't said anything to me since Saturday night and I certainly hadn't said anything to him after finding out about him and Lexi.

When I walked into work I was shocked to find that he wasn't there. An hour passed by before I gave up on the idea that he was coming at all.

I walked up to Ethan as he was leaving and he gave me a shrug, already knowing what I was about to ask him.

"He's definitely faking a sickie, I know that much, but I have no idea why. Sorry Hailey." He told me before walking out the door with JJ.

I continued working until my shift finished and walked out of the door at 10pm, checking my phone to see a message from Simon.

S: Hey you, want to go on a super public lunch date with me tomorrow?

I laughed and replied.

H: Lmao sure. When and where?

He sent me the details and also added that I'd get paid £100 for my time.

I picked my jaw up off the floor and quickly replied back.

H: You know I'd do it for free right? I've never felt more like a sugar baby in my life!

S: Does that mean you have to call me daddy now?

H: Oh god forget I said anything!

I made it back to my flat and got ready for bed, feeling a little less anxious about Harry and quite excited for my fake date with Simon.

I was walking to the cafe and double checking my reflection in shop windows as I passed. Knowing that we were purposely going to be parading ourselves out in public together, I'd put a little bit of extra effort into my appearance today.

I'd gone with a short sundress because it was sunny out and I'd paired it with some sandals and a small brown handbag.

As I approached the cafe I saw Simon already sitting outside scrolling on his phone.

"Hey stranger." I greeted him as I sat down next to him.

He looked up and gave me a warm smile before leaning over and kissing me on the cheek, instantly making me blush.

"What was that for?" I whispered.

"Got to make the most of the perks of fake dating." He said grinning.

"Then maybe you shouldn't refer to it as fake dating in public." I teased him.

"Well it's not like we have paparazzi following us or anything, I'm not that famous yet." He added with a wink.

"It'll just be for the fans that will eventually spot us and upload their shitty photos to the internet, so you'll have to be pretty convincing at all times... No pressure." He said with a smirk.

"So I'm supposed to act like I'm in love with you at all times?" I asked him seriously.

"Woah slow down, it's still a new relationship, even if it's fake. I mean, unless you find it easy to act like you're in love with me. I won't stop you." He winked again and I couldn't help myself from lightly hitting his arm.

"Yeah, yeah, calm down Casanova." I replied with a grin. It was really easy to banter with Simon which I hadn't noticed before, since we were usually surrounded by other people.

We ate our lunch and spotted a few fans lurking around looking over at us, so Simon put his hand on mine on top of the table and looked deep into my eyes.
